In this video I take a day trip on my CFMOTO Ibex 800T on a discovery trip to the Head Waters of the Southern Missouri Ozark's Current River and also I Explore an Awesome Large Spring and abandoned Hospital on The current River...
Missouri’s geography is so unique-the sharp divide between north and south features was helped out by a chain of meteor strikes along the 38th parallel. Traveling from east to west they scarred and “cracked open” the bedrock bringing underground water to the surface and exposing (possibly delivering) many of the minerals found around Washington, St Francois and Iron counties. I’ve several meteorites and impactites in these areas, as well ancient stone tools and minerals.
I rode my mighty Tiger 1200 down to West Plains Saturday and went through Chen’s drive-thru for some groceries. Made me think of your last visit. Great video as always. Ride safe!
When we were kids I remember my dad using creosote on the fences mixed up with a gallon of engine oil that he'd just changed. Those fences lasted forever!
Hello there sir, good to hear from you... creosote is the ultimate preservative for sure or at least it was before the EPA banned it... Thanks for watching... :)
Thank you for sharing your riding area with us. I've never been to your region of the country. I enjoy your lighthearted commentary on your ventures away from the World Headquarters.
Good to hear from you sir... Yes the fuel mapping is not good on the Ibex... is suffers from lean surging at lower rpm's.. that is my biggest complaint with the bike... Until CFMOTO fixes the fueling on the 800T and 800S I am giving them a " do not recommend to purchase rating... for now I would go with the Tenere.... thanks for watching... keep safe out there... :)
Good to hear from you sir, I own a Tiger and an Ibex because I cannot afford any more bikes at the moment. The new Trans Alp and that new BMW 900GS would look really nice in the garage with the Ibex ant the Tiger... Thanks for watching.. :)
