Id say Jimmy Johnson is the greatest football coach of all time. He waa doninate in college and NFL. Saban sucked in the NFL. If Johnson stayed in college with Miami Florida he would've won as many college titles as Saban. Saban on the other hand wouldnt win 2 super bowls like Johnson did. And Cowboys was trash before Johnson got there.
Basically everyone expects Bama to win. As a Michigan fan I hope we can finally play nit scared or dumb mistakes but we shall see. It feels like it should be this year 🤷♂️
looking back on this, that botched extra point by michigan cost alabama +1.5 bettors some money, because the final would have been 21 - 20 michigan or alabama would have gone for it on 4th down and possibly won the game outright. crazy how 1 little thing makes such a big difference.
Nothing against you dude but to hear you put Saban on a pedestal and talk about his past championships and how many players they have had in the first round of the draft or what decisions he made with players and coaches that caused Belichick to call him the greatest college coach ever even over Bear Bryant, Bobby Bouden, Lou Holtz and Joe Paterno etc. But to hear you talk it’s like saying that maybe they should just forget the game or Michigan shouldn’t even show up so let’s just give the Rose Bowl trophy to Alabama and forget the theatrics since you think Michigan has no chance of winning this game. And to say that Michigan is scared of Saban and Alabama is ludicrous. Michigan might lose this game but if they do it won’t be cause they were scared. They were not scared of anybody they played all year. And just because Bama beat Georgia doesn’t mean they will definitely beat Michigan.
Hate to see Maalik Murphy leave like this since he helped get Tx this far...and there probably wouldn't be that much of a drop off if he filled in for Ewers in the playoffs. I guess they were terrified of losing Manning.

man, saban is great no doubt, but you act like he did more with less. dude had a top 3 recruiting class every single year. Most of those players are high end draft picks. Stop acting like he didnt rinse and repeat and have an outside top 10 class ever. Hes a better coach than Kirby and Lane, but look what Kirby did in just a few short years... those recruiting classes matter especially when your backyard has the easiest and hottest recruiting base.

If Saban was the coach at Notre Dame or Michigan he would've won maybe 1 title. He has a WIDE recruiting advantage at a school with less than par academic standards and loads more in NIL money. When he has equal talent to other teams he's a .500 coach (aka see the NFL results) #1 CFB Show? Yeah #1 in reference to a 1-AA football program.
I love RJ’s stuff. As a Texas fan I know who I want to win but I don’t feel comftorable saying who will win. The last month all I’ve heard was we were too physical or we can’t handle their receivers. I’m just excited to see all this talk on the field. Hook ‘em 🤘🏼
The one thing that will help michigan is the D coordinator was on the Ravens staff with Lamar. So he knows how dangerous a dual threat QB is and how to manage them. Still gotta stop him and make him make mistakes. Which is easier said then done. Should be a great game. Can't wait for Monday to come.
Consider that JJ played under amidst controversies and without his head coach for a significant part of the season. It wasn't the easiest season, but he still managed to deliver.
They keep bringing up the last 4 games but yet JJ was injured badly where they almost didn't play him in the Maryland game. They played tougher teams and lost their coach for 3 games. He will be fresh next week. I'm not convinced Michigan will win but damn stop talking about JJ like he was healthy and playing easy opponents with no drama. Also Mike Sanistril was really the only good player in the Iowa game. Everyone else came in knowing they were going to win. There will be a different attitude against Alabama.
@@numberonecfbshow We don't know the details of the alleged crimes, just that there's a video. It doesn't tie the head coach to it, so it could be self-inflicted. I'd be cautious, but everyone has their own take on it, I guess.

An analyst would know Washington with less overall talent level would also suffer more when the inevitable injuries came. They won despite the injuries and are healthier now. I think whoever wins the turnover margin in the bama/mich game wins. If there are no turnovers, then field position. I dont think either team is going to go up and down the field on each other.

Reminder: RJ did not even consider Michigan to be a Top 25 team 2 years ago. To call him biased would be an understatement. Michigan gave up half as many points as Alabama this year. You can call the SEC better than the B1G, but they are not 2X better. Alabama got to play a 8-5 FCS Shoe Mascot team. Other than that pad stat game, they have given up at least 20 points to 7 straight opponents. I would surprised to Michigan NOT get to 20 points. If they get to 30, they win.
UGAs defense was trash this year. Front 4 werent good, linebackers werent that good and neither was the secondary. Its hard to stay great when you dont have generational college players recruited in your backyard when you think you do.
OU was under 200 yards passing and under 50% completions until the last drive of the game. Texas did just fine against OU’s passing defense. DG 113 yards rushing is what did them in.
Considering the Washington defense was able to rise up and constrain Oregon, I think they have a pretty good chance. And considering Texas ' secondary will be at a considerable disadvantage they have a better than average chance of beating them like they did last year. They already know they can beat this team because they've done it. They will not be intimidated by their size.
Is it not a significant data point that Saban gets like a top 5 recruiting class almost every year? Obviously getting recruits is one thing but transforming them is another. I think however he would be a far worst off winning coach if he didn't have those recruits. Vs some coaches end up doing decently well without those top recruits year over year aka Harbaugh.
