Great video! I can't wait to order one. First thing that needs to change is the Phillips head screw - should be a Torx. With all the adjustments the machine will see, that Phillips will be stripped before next week!!
Looks like a quality machine, it's 3D printed by to looks of it. I'm just wondering about wear to the base where the sanding block touches the base after all this machine is built for the "long haul" and over time the base might get sanded down unevenly might be ok if you only have sandpaper strip on one side. I ask because I noticed @ 01:46 what looks to be dust particles from the base of the machine and the only way to prevent that would to keep one side of sanding block with no sandpaper on it so you're not inadvertently sanding away the base.
Yes, 3D printed. Tough enough to drill into and brass screw inserts, so I am optimistic. Only thing I can see wearing is the sanding plate holder, but it has been through many, many hours of testing and seems to last.
@@Homeracingworld ...I commented about that sanding block holder of the machine and noticed dust from the holder only way around not sanding the holder away over time would be to remove the sandpaper on one side and have 2 separate sanding blocks with different grades or 2 different grades of sand paper on one side of the block.
