DJ Stabren oh ok, but I was merely referencing the song which uses the exact same instrumental because it was funny at the time of the US-Iran Crisis I suppose you can call it.

But why should it be? We don't learn that much about history of other countries as well. Why should we expect foreigners to know about this kind of things?
Most people confuse the Warsaw Uprising with the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Both terrible and heroic. I have explained to my friends and family what happened in Warsaw. My wife and I visited Warsaw on August 1st of 2018 and 2019. If only we could visit again one day. After vaccination passports go away. I love Warsaw! I love Poland! Even though I am not a Polish person. An American.
Not much the western allies could have done, it would've been very risky to drop troops in to assist and considering how long a siege would've lasted it's understandable that they didn't want to commit their highly trained troops to a battle which would've lasted weeks and cost many lives. The Soviets though could've done much more but I am sure they saw those in Warsaw as a potential future threat just like the Forest Brothers in the Baltics and the remaining UPA members in Ukraine.
When he says the soviets watched...molotov ribbentrop pact flash backs in 1939 then during the cold war the PPR was created...and nato just watched....again.
A heroic battle, a sacrifice no one was willing to pay apart from the Polish resistance. Free nations must stand together always, or a tyrant such as Hitler will screw us all. 😞
This is a song of the "Parasol" batallion: a Home Army unit made of former members of Polish Scouting Association and were a part of "Grey Ranks": conspiratory scouting movenent. "Parasol" was tasked by Kedyw (Home Army's Main Directoriate of Divison) with carrying out death sentences for high-ranking nazi officials including the assasination of Franz Kutschera (SS general and head of Gestapo and SS in occupied Poland): in Warsaw Uprising the battalion fought defending the insurgents' HQ, with it's peak strength of about 600 it lost 282 members in combat.
@@jonathanwilliams1065 Who said anything about kids? The Polish units were made up of any Poles that volunteered and were physically able. Many of them were older men who had fought in the last war, as most of the younger ones had either been killed in the invasion or captured after it
@@jonathanwilliams1065 Polish kids fought is the Warsaw uprising if thats what you mean, nobody was forced to fight tho. As for Germans they killed everybody, killing all slavs was one of their goals so they didn't hold back.

The last verse of this song: And when the days of fighting, assaults and bleeding are behind A brotherly legion when it finally returns We'll go as a group through the alleys in a parade And this assault song we'll hum Swarms of ladies, swarms of flowers and banners Even step, sure sight, even cobble trembles Through the alleys with the parade we'll march In to the free Poland that's raised up by our blood Through the alleys with the parade we'll march In to the free Poland that's raised up by our blood

The same can be applied to everywhere controlled by the Axis.
@Henry B it is not exactly the case for all of them.
