Today, we are talking about different features of events like mutually exclusive events, equally likely events, exhaustive events, dependent events and independent events.
Define mutually exclusive events.
Two events "A" and "B" are said to be mutually exclusive events if they have no common sample point of the given sample space.
Or
Two events are said to be mutually exclusive events if they cant occure togahter.
Define equally likely events.
Two events "A" and "B" are said to be equally likely events if they have equal number of sample points of the given sample space.
Or
Two events are said to be equally likely if they have same chances of occurrence.
Define exhaustive events.
Two events "A" and "B" are said to be exhaustive events if their union makes the sample space.
Define independent events.
Two events "A" and "B" are said to be independent events if the occurence of one event does not effet the occurence of another event.
Define dependent events.
Two events "A" and "B" are siad to dependent events if the occurence of one event effects on the occurence of another event.
