I can relate quite well dear. My husband has bipolar disorder too. We're managing it he's now fully aware of it and always looks out for the symptoms and he tries so much too put himself under check. To think he's a priest and God is using him to bless others, and he still has this disorder makes him feel he's not serving God well, and that puts him to the depression side some times. I wish I can have your boldness to start creating awareness of this illness. According to his doctors, bipolar isn't really a mental problem but a mood disorder. Though the maniac side can make it look like real madness. So don't ever see yourself as mad. God is helping you and my family too.
Please do share no matter how tiny the information is. It will help many. I lost a dear one to this issue I wish I knew better. And refusal to take the pills is real. If the pills are not taken how can the brain cells function well? But then satan is always at it. And the place first of all handing it all to God to completely solve is key because the pill managing the condition is only cycle and the that makes the sufferer frustrated because no one enjoys taking pills for life neither the side effects such as over eating, sleeping for longer hours , weight gain, self-esteem issues that come with it. And God has given us a sound mind!

In the medical profession, we care, God heals. Healing is from God who created us. Chacha, I praise you for your courage and honesty. It will go a long way to remove any stigma to mental illness. Chemical and electrical imbalances in the brain can cause these conditions. May our Lord Jesus Christ perfect your healing and make you whole. What God cannot do does not exist. I pray that your foundation do a lot of good to humanity and that it gets a lot of support in funding, and manpower by the help from nurses, doctors, and volunteers.

The Same thing happened to my elder sister and she is late now ,she went through a lot before she died even our family and her husband went through a lot,she destroyed many properties including hers , i pray for total healing upon you now ,that sickness will disappear from you in Jesus name Amen,the Lord is your strength,and as for my family ,we will not experience this kind of sickness again, affliction will never rise second time in our family,Amen
I'm sorry for your loss. May God continue to comfort you and your family. I can only relate to a certain extent as my aunt who is like a second mother to me went through the same torment including burning her house down. A certain Pastor said it was affliction while her siblings called her bipolar, hallucination and total madness. She saw it as people wanting to kill her and almost everyone was a suspect, including me at times. It was quite hearbreaking. But thanks be to our LORD she has been completely healed and is now a pastor. She used to have relapses every year but it's been 10yrs now without any symptoms whatsoever. It is well!

Waoh! When she went the second time on social media and saying her husband wants to kill her and she has to get out of her marriage, most people encourage not knowing she was sick. Immediately I saw that I wrote she needs help I don't know them personally but I knew what she was saying was crazy. I am happy the truth is revealed and she is having proper treatment to keep her beautiful marriage and family . And bipolar is really a sickness and a lot of people don't even know they have it because they dealt with it so long it becomes normal to them but thank God she's getting help in her pastor I can hear in his voice he saved sanctified and filled with the precious Holy Ghost and I love that in him I love the way he pray thank you Jesus bless them all amen
