"Yes!" spent 3 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Charts (June 17, 2000 - July 1, 2000, becoming Chad Brock's only number-one single in the process), and was ranked as the #2 country song of 2000 (behind Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now?!"). It also successfully crossed over to pop radio, reaching #22 on the Billboard Hot 100, and ranked #79 for the year on that chart.
13 year old me loved this song so much, I used to dream of the day when some guy felt this way about me. But as the most bullied kid in school, that dream seemed impossible. But God makes the impossible possible. And in 2007, I said yes to the love of my life and one of the best men I've ever known. We've been married 12 years. We have 3 beautiful boys (who certainly keep their mama on her toes!). And he's still my best friend and the love of my life. Thanks for the memories.
I'm reading 3 years after your comment I just wanna say, God keep shining his favor on your marriage. Your comment just put a smile on young man's face
I started music way back in 90's, it was a lifetime having so much singing, and having so much fun. But in 2001 I got married, but when my daughter was born , I still went with music, then one day, she said' is daddy really, home? And I was like Oh my god, then I quit music and had a son in January of 2005 , hope you like this story
Family first we respect Chad and we understand the story sir but we still miss your voice and music on our radios. . . maybe we can hear some sometime soon??
Keep making music Chad. You don't have to be selling Platinum to be a musician at heart. Pick up that old Guitar and strum out a tune for anything that touches you in life, your child, a stranger, a bird, a sparrow in the rain, anything. Thanks for the memories!
Luckily we still got a lot of brilliant songs from you... But it will come the time to do some more isn't it? We've got patience and you've got a great task to do as a dad... Big hugs ^^
I absolutely love this song. I loved it since the first time I heard it. So sweet and romantic. Thanks Chad Brock..big fan! Love you! (As friends). Trying to not sound psycho ;)
Fun moment: Back in college, I was an RA and it was move in weekend for new students. Staff would help with boxes, carts, and campus questions. On 1 elevator trip there were 7 men (complete strangers, ranging from 70s-20s) waiting for the lobby floor. Brock's song started playing and you could tell we were vibing. Without missing a beat and with precise unison, all of us started singing the lyrics. When the doors opened, there was a family waiting, and we hit that chorus extremely loud like we were drunks at a wedding! The family laughed, then we started to laugh, and it was surreal because most elevator rides are antisocial. Ha! I always chuckle when this song plays.
You don't even begin to know how similar this is to how my wife and I got together. The story is way too long to tell here but know this. We heard this song and knew it was ours. And always will be.
I love the song always && forever; .. .. my first time seeing the video it was amazing especially for the point that it's actually kind of hilarious LOL
I seen chad play at river fest in Ottawa Illinois many years ago but every time I hear this song it's like it was just yesterday I seen it love this song
For some reason, this has always been in my iTunes as Brad Paisley, even though the two don't sound much alike... I'm glad I finally have the right artist on here! I love this song. Added to my wedding playlist =)

Not a one hit wonder at all. 3 distributed albums that I know about. 3 solid singles from his first album. 2 from this one. And 2 from the 3rd. Due to family reasons he did not continue with music.
Man i didn't know he was a wrestler in World Championship Wrestling back before he started singing country music what's crazy is i used to watch WCW back then and i never noticed
