A former neighbor of Chad Daybell, Steven Schultz, took the stand on Friday morning, where he spoke about his relationship with the accused murderer, Chad Daybell. Schultz touched on a conversation he had with Jason Williams, the brother-in-law of Tammy Daybell, where Schultz asked Jason if he thought Chad killed his wife.

@@OscarFrosty I guess we (the people) need to trust the jury hears all the factual information and comes to the correct conclusion. Lori wouldn’t allow her defence team to speak ill of Chad. In this case Chad has allowed his attorney to speak horrifically of everyone except Chad. Somehow, Chad was just a living Prophet, having an affair and living his best life. Makes me so ill.

There was an attempt on Tammy's life, then she ends up dead on her bed... And Chad doesn't find that "suspicious" enough to order an autopsy? Of course not! He KNOWS exactly what happened! There's too many dead bodies connected to Lori and Chad. Let's pray he gets the ultimate sentence for his crimes.

See it wasn’t Chad that made the request of not getting an autopsy it was his daughter Emma who was insistent on not getting an autopsy done claiming the family didn’t want mom cut up the family wanted to grieve and move on so that’s why not a lot of suspicion was raised !! And knowing what we know about Emma now it doesn’t surprise me I have a feeling she either knew deep down that Chad was guilty & she was trying to protect him or Chad convinced her & manipulated her into being adamant about not having an autopsy she and her siblings do not believe there dad killed their mom & they say Chad was set up and framed for the murders of Tylee & jj

The best evidence that this was murder is that when they dug her up, she had bruises on her that were not there when she was embalmed and buried. This is so typical of injuries that happen at the moment of death! The bruises don't come out until later. I'm glad this guy testified that he didn't see any bruises.

You wouldn’t believe how many incompetent coroners there are. Where I live, ours are voted in per county.They don’t have to meet many requirements either, just a high school education.That girl was young and inexperienced who saw Tammy. It Would be nice if there was some type of medical/post-mortem and criminology courses they could take after voted in where I live. My ex husband is an embalmer/funeral director and had to contact the coroner and investigators many times because due to suspicious things about bodies. Our past coroner was a retired nurse practitioner and she was great.

Also a body doesn’t go cold immediately upon death; it takes hours for it to go cold, as well as for liver mortis to set in, both of which Tammy had when she was “found “ by Chad and Garth and subsequently the first responders. Her time of death was likely around midnight, not 5:30 am like Chad suggested.

Prior wants the jury to believe the neighbor is only suspicious now because of what he now knows about Chad and Lori. The biggest statement to back up that he was suspicious the day he picked up Tammy's body is what he said to Jason -- "Do you think he killed her?" The very day he picked up her body he was suspicious about Chad.

It’s terrifying how poorly qualified coroners are in the US. In Europe, any death without obvious cause e.g. in hospital with cancer, has to be properly investigated, autopsy and highly qualified medical coroner to report.

I’m Canadian, and asked the same thing after the coroner’s testimony. Most states require an autopsy at an unattended death in the home. Chad talked his way out of it. There is a voice recording of Emma wanting the results of the autopsy prior to it being released. I think she was suspicious but still stands by her father.

I cant believe his *adult* children believe Chad is innocent. 😂 I understand *wanting* your father to not be the monster he would have to be in order to take part in the murder of two children and your own mother, but at some point, as an adult, you have to open your eyes and see the evidence for what it is. Do they think its a "normal" thing to find the two "missing" children of your fathers lover buried in your backyard? Do they not find it suspicious that their father gets involved with this woman (Lori), then all of a sudden Lori's husband is killed, your mother is shot at in her driveway then soon after just "dies", Lori's two youngest children go "missing" then are found buried on their father's property...then, Lori's brother ends up dead. 🤔 C'mon... at this point, they have to know.

Chad said he heard a "thud" (which he says was Tammy falling off the bed onto the floor), he goes to the bedroom and finds Tammy dead, cold and stiff. A stiff dead body isn't going to fall off a bed on its own, and the body takes hours to "stiffen up", it's not an instantaneous thing that happens after death. She was dead long before Chad claims. I'd say she was dead the night prior and he waited until morning to call 911.

Mormon here speaking as an individual, not on behalf of the church. In this type of situation, 1. Chad would be excommunicated from the church and thereby have his baptism and other religious promises including his marriage/sealing cancelled. It seems that in his evilness and religious delusions, he thought he was above all that and justified murder.

Who was it that pronounced the death, You had the ambulance guys, the medical doctor and the coroner and no one thought the death of a healthy middle aged woman with no signs of illness, to just be dead and no one is suspicious that this might just not be natural cause!

Dead people don't roll off the bed. Then he has 2 different accounts of how he found her. Once at 1am and then when he woke up. And the medical examiner said she found pooling of the blood which usually means she was laying there for sometime. And how convenient...he was already in love with another woman..and that woman's husband was dead already. Don't know why they need 6 weeks of trial 😒 🙄

In north carolina funeral directors and embalmers Do have a duty to bring things up to law enforcement or the medical examiner. But also in NC this would have and should have been referred to the ME for autopsy

There was bruising and petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes that indicates suffocation. The autopsy report after her exhumation detailed her injuries I believe.

So a lot of red flags !! My q are why the police didn't take fingerprint around Chad house in and out and in Tammy room on her MED and laptop ? He said he is so happy to have all her passwords, so maybe he sends the e.mails to his son Mark ? its still time to go and found fingerprints of Alex in his house nears her window of her room or front door, i think someone from the police should check it no ? pls help me with answer if you know ? Other BIG Q how the police let Alex go with the shooting of Charles ?I bet Tilly knew what really happened in the room and JJ and Lori its the one that shout him ..and cos of that they need to get rid of the children ! And Emma must know abut her mum dead, she just wants the money from her dad !!the FBI need to go back and take again fingerprints of the house and check everything again !
