If anyone wants to know- Sterling Knight (the actor who played Chad) lost numerous roles to Zac Efron at one time. Then one day, Zac Efron parked in his parking space and Knight said that he started yelling and cursing him out. I think he apologized to him after he yelled at him that day, cause they went on to star in 17 Again together. I think the writers knew this so they started making Chad hate Zac Efron as a funny mention.
I was thinking, "'Sterling Knight' can't be his real name. Nobody has a name that cool." Then I looked it up and yes, that is indeed his real name. Even better, his middle name is "Sandmann."
I still cannot believe they couldn't get Efron to guest star. He guest starred in Suite Life of Zac and Cody but never in Sonny with a Chance. A final face off between Mackenzie and him during the last seasom would've been epic
He wasn't as famous when he was on the Suite Life. That episode came out right after the first HSM. This aired three years later, after the last HSM and the same year 17 Again came out. He'd already worked with huge names in Hollywood by then and was trying to distance himself from Disney Channel.
It kinda looks like his face changed too, for some reason. With the standard Disney boy haircut, his eyes looked weird and his smile lines made him look a little creepy. When he cut his hair, THAT was when I could see how girls could fall for him. xD
I can’t believe that I never noticed that Disney actually managed to get Jeff Dunham to appear in an episode! And I rewatched the show a few years ago and didn’t realize. I’m so shocked and completely mad at myself that I’m just noticing this now! 🥹😂
@@rachelmartin5187I know this was pretty long ago but ur right his Disney days had just started to stop and they mentioned him as like a little goodbye tribute I think
@@rachelmartin5187I mean Raven guest starred in the show as a funny character, so I'm pretty sure it wouldn't been that difficult for them to book Zac a scene in SWAC.
@@Shanona_Ryder you mean that Disney movie where a big superstar tries to impress a small hometown girl that isn't even one of his fans and they end up falling in love with one another? How does that connect with Chad doing Cooper if they're in different universes?
