It doesn't matter how big the fuel tank is if you don't put any fuel in it! My first vehicle was a 1957 Chevrolet. If the fuel gauge needle touched the empty line you were walking so I learned never to get below 1/4 tank.

I think that truck would look awesome with a large chromed canned air filter like the big rigs do, plus it'll run better since it'll be drawing in cool air instead of hot air from the engine.

Always enjoy your video's Chad! You might want to purchase a little garden sprayer to apply cleaning solution to vehicles. You can cover a lot more area a lot quicker.

costa rica saludos....I wish in Costa Rica we had an electrical mechanic as professional as you... here we have a lot of problems because most mechanics only know Japanese vehicles... American vehicles are still very little known when it comes to doing any work on them, it's all a problem due to lack of qualified labor.

I never miss a Chad’s Fab video. Always interesting and fun. I also watch Fab Rats. I unsubed matts channel. Can’t keep interested in it. Not liking the matt n tom show. I liked it when they had a good crew. I also watch Rudy. Also, robbys channel just got over the top. Lost my interest a couple months ago.

Chad and crew yall are great fabricator you should make some fenders for Matt and make it really street legal and my idea is to mount them on the steering knuckles so they turn with the tires

Chad is always so calm and laid back so I wasn't surprised at the condition of his shop and property 🙄. Everything in it's place and clean. Even when they were spraying the wrecker I was wondering if they have a dedicated cleaning area because the concrete is so clean 👌 😅

You going with 40-42 on Grizz? Can always run 35-37 if its already designed for the larger foot print tires. I have noticed Matt's sidewalls roll under really far when traversing side hill sections... looked like it was ridding on the rim at times.😮 That was at EJS, without anything in tow. Wouldn't it be sweet to have the ability to change air psi on the fly like the Hummers & other army trucks were setup!?? I'm sure retrofitting it would be a serious challenge but such a cool feature to allow you to find tune the footprint on the fly. Matt & everyone have commented on how Soft it rides over rough terrain, thinking alot of that has to do with the tire size & psi. Eric has the run flats up front for added weight where Rory added extra steel to the nose to keep it down. Love the stock looking 72 body, but having a V nose & lowered hood could allow you to see better. I have seen an LCD color split screen & dual cameras for RV use, a guy could add that to the front with 3 cameras to allow you video vision. Like playing a video game maybe? Never played video games but my nephews looks really detailed & clear. Can't wait to see everyone's New wrecker builds! Eric is going to be building an old heavyduty Forest service Jeep pickup for Seatcover, Rory is building up the old antique Ford wrecker for Robbie & everyone else is fine tuning their wreckers. Always wondered why no one has added a removable soft bumper pad to the rear to keep both rigs from being damaged just in case... like Rorys X cross straps that keep the towed rig from swinging side to side, I bet Allen would make all you guys a set if asked, then again with your ability to weave in a new end.... you could make your own in any custom color. So much fun to watch everyone evolve & help each other out.

Just curious, is Matt's "Largest Off Road Wrecker" misnamed? Merlin's wrecker is big. I do not remember seeing those two wreckers sitting in a side by side comparison. There may be a good reason for that, Matt may have to add "Almost" to the title.

No AC? I shocked, it wouldn't be too hard if Matt used a small internal kit like Merlin has been using. Heat, defrost & AC vents. Basic😅

I have a 30 x 40 garage ..but it only has a 10 ft ceiling ,, that wrecker makes it look small , looking like you might need a 60 x 80 shop ..

The Utah Demo Fabrication Society (Chad, Matt, Paul, Robbie, Rudi). You just don't realize how much a production of a single Monster Recovery Vehicle really is unless you watch all the videos for this build. And it is still not finished. But I suspect that is true with all your workhorse builds. Most of the engineering on these builds is done on the fly. So things are bound not to work. Things not acting as they way you expected it to work. It is great that you all can work so well together.

One wrong switch and the "Switch thrower" will fry.

There are great backup cameras and monitors that would be used to view the back of the boom and other "stuff".
