His personality is great for a fighter. But the problem with him is that he acts like this ALL the time. Outside of the UFC. And that creates problems in his day-to-day life.
Okay, don't be ridiculous. Chael got owned in the trash talk by Bisping. His lines are mostly pre-written and often came off as cheesy. Conor is miles ahead in the trash talk. Having said that, re-listening to this interview brought back some fond memories.
Conor responds and hits back. He is witty and craft. Chael has epic speeches but he didn’t have good back and forth banter. Conor can do epic speeches and bite back.
"Kenny Rice would probably say something stupid like that" ahahahahahahahaha He is so awesome! Love his lingo and vocabulary skills, he truly is one of a kind
***** The probability is zero, but i even will ask: Are you in this pic? Why do you put a woman pic on the place that your pic should be? That's weird.
Chael Sonnen once said some bad things about my country and people around here were pretty mad at him, but I don't care. I really like Chael's character and all the things he said about my country are true, so if you can't hear the truth and be ok with it, you should never cross Chael's path. He's such a nice guy and such a funny person... Impossible to dislike him. ; )
Whether you like the man or not, if you pay attention to what Sonnen says, the man is doing his job. Since he fought Anderson I have either missed or slept through his fights, but I still pay attention to what he says because, even if it's completely horseshit, it's entertaining. For that reason alone he deserves all the attention and "undeserved" fights he gets given.
No MMA fan, no UFC fan, no WWE fan, but a sports fan. And stumbled across an interview with Chael. Now, I can't get enought of him. Genius indeed, I don't have a clue who Kenny Rice is but the way that Chael's zooming in on him like this and just completely off topic starts bashing him is hilarious. "Five people watching, six including you" had me cramping on the floor.
Chael was talking about stone cold steve austin at the end. I know this because he said stone cold was his strength coach. But he said stone cold wanted nothing to do with the business, he told him don't involve him.
Wait, you love Chael, and you're calling me a misogynist? Haha, you do know that he's known for saying horribly racist and misogynistic things, right? Obviously, it's part of his schtick, but you really need to pick a personality and stick with it.
***** Aww, why did you have to go say that? I love you, man! I fall asleep to your long, overdrawn reviews of albums no one cares about anymore, nightly!
***** You did get that +1 from the girl you're trying to impress, though, so I'm crossing my fingers that you get that Skype session soon. Send your mom out, and tuck in that extra chin! Eeeek!
Chael is an ass, no doubt albeit he is a showman and he has the best arsenal of vocal weapons at his disposal, ergo he is an asset to UFC. Also he is tough, hard working and he has balls of gold (meaning he is one fearless mofo)
Fight 1. Chael = TRT Anderson = bruised rib... Fight 2. Champions don't make mistakes... Thats why Anderson is still the champ... But Chael has earned my respect for taking on any fighter and ALWAYS fighting tough and pushing the pace... His double leg is something to be of which in awe.
you can tell Chael grew up a wrestling fan (or that would be my guess) that ending line sounded like something from old school wrestler 'Superstar Billy Graham'
He does fight, and he does it very well. He's challenged Silva more than anyone else in the UFC, period, and he has several victories over notable opponents.
I don't dispute those fouls. They were out of Character for Anderson and were a side of him of which I wish was never debut. However, the knee to the solar plexus. That move was not cheap but was rather an effective move. I am looking forward to the Chris Weidman fight though (or that entire card actually. Man that card is stacked. You have Anderson, Weidman, Zombie, Lamas, Edgar, Swanson ALL on ONE card. I'm impressed w/ the UFC lately. They've been putting together some AMAZING cards lately.
