Your builds have been so much fun this season! Started with your Red Wedding (loved it!), moved on to Jon Snow (loved it more!), then went Charged Bolts (very fun). I've finally built this one last night and leveled from 1-89 in ~7hrs. This is the best one yet! Was running T100 NMD quickly at lvl 69 and tried a few lvl6 hoards prior to calling it a night. Had no problem at all. This thing is fast! Thank you!!

I fought t8 last night. Bosses were super tanky and killed me. Then, on my second attempt, they went down super fast. Felt like the boss hp bug that was on ptr. Not sure if that's the case but I thought I'd share my experience.
I haven’t used Andariels, but I’ve ran with a few rogues using it at tormented bosses. Sometimes tormented duriel would die in 5 seconds, other times it would be like 30 seconds. It seems a bit random but it gets the job done often enough.

This build is bonkers fun, i'm currently blasting with this while collecting gear for lightning spear. My buddy is playing necro this season and he's just straight up rerolled sorc after me carrying him through hordes for days😂
Ah I just realised now, as you explained it, why sometimes I can't get ice armour up, yet other times I can pop it constantly, hard hit taking from me means I have to wait for the cool down. Thanks for that, I'm trying to get my life up now so I can take more harder hits and not lose it lol
Im glad i watched this. I started the season as rogue and ive done everything i want to do with my andy build. I just started an alt sorc last night and was wondering what I was gonna play until i got a winterglass and a good staff. I already have everything i need for this build, so now i know what ill be doing for a bit.
i got andariels at ww2 early on never had a mythic before. Leveled to 100 with it with starlight and firewall. Migrated to fireball and farmed a bit and got a starless sky and switched to chain lightning. I have 3 sparks and i cant let go of these two mythics. This spec struggles at T8 for me even with two mythics but its so much fun. Im trying to ride two defensives only Teleport and Ice Armor I feel like higher tiers you need flameshield. Im wondering if winterglass works with chain. Your vids are awesome. Straight to the point and easy to follow. Keep it up. I only play sorc and your builds have been fun.
Thanks!!! Honestly just farm T7s, still 25 neathiron per chest instead of 30. Only one less wave. I don’t think Winterglass would be good with chain. If you want more spears and teleports go overflowing and either 3 pts in static discharge or destructive CL
Now that you have moved splintering to the gloves & storm swell to the amulet…. I am just curious about dropping splintering for lightning rod, what’s your take on that?
So I’ve actually experiment a lot with lightning rod on the amulet. Try it out. Hits hard but splintering is just really strong for horde. I use lightning rod in pit
Last is that instead of boots with Orange Herald I was lucky to get an Esus with GA Crit Damage. Masterworked to 8 it gives me about 154% crit damage and an additional 14% crit chance. Seems to provide a massive boost to Splintering Energy. I also use Lightning Spear on my bar instead of flame shield.
Well timed! Got disappointed running almost same setup and trying to scale andies. Did 20 min kill on t8 bosses lol. Wasn’t using splintering. In the middle of speccing lightning spear so will switching back. Why no fists of fate? Thought chain lightning skill ranks not that great? My andies double crited life on hit…
In your Mobalytics guide you reference "Warmth Tempers are very important to help generate resource" for the Leveling Chain Lightning/Lightning spear build. Being a new player I do not know what you mean by warm tempers, could someone explain?
When leveling, warmth tempers are a defensive temper. They heal you when enemies near you are burning. This allows you to Gen resource back using the starlight aspect on a ring. It gives you mana for healing, even when at full life
Hey @Lurkin thanks for update. I play maxroll Northwar version of chain lightning, using his uber mythic endgame setup with 12/12 masterwork and i am doing t8 hordes bosses as well. Although i admit, most sense is to solo t7 since its just a lot smoother, especially bosses. But i do t8 bosses little faster then you are. But i have little better gear probably. I think survival is better with ur version when you use flame shield. THo its not needed on council. I am mentioning this since i wouldn't scratch out pure chain lightning yet since Northwars version does better on bosses then this one. I might give this one a try tho when i get some gear to do adjustments beacuse its most likely better on mob clear in t8.
yeah i figured andariels would really shine if you managed to get good fists of fate. north knows his math. i just figured most people can't get good fists, and the andariels damage was very middling without them.
@@Lurkin17 please also see roxy version. Its also very nice. She did bosses a lot faster then you did, without andariel using only shako +ranks to CL + splintering aspect for faster aoe speed. I counted your boss kill which was over 2,5 min and Roxsy kil lwas 1,5 min. SO 1 min faster. That's a lot. And thats without using andariel just shako. Now northwar version is using andariel fists and 2hander. Which i was using and i think am somewhere in between those times. @@jumpjack15 true shes using splintering aspect, but that's also what Lurkin is doing now. So i wouldn;t say neither of them are 100% chain. But you can also watch her 2nd video with CL on bosses shes using pure CL build there without splintering and also performs really well.
chop chop chop man I tried this all day with similiar gear (used a staff and only 10/12 MW tho) and really just struggled my way thru T7 Hordes w this. Made me really sad as I dont want to go back to Splintering Winterglass build.
Very fun build, I'm still seeking Tyrael's Might and Ring of Starless Skies to complete my sorc to match yours but it rips through horde t7 relatively easy. On your Andariel Palpatine build and the speed farming tab, what use case will this be for with the Raiment of Infinite chest? Lower level infernal horde or helltide?

Lurking I'm confused why you have two Season 5 Andariel Palpatine builds on mobalytics. The description links the build that was last updated August 9th yet you also have another one that's updated August 11th. Which build is the one that we should follow??
Gloves with +ranks to skills are so hard to drop for me so far. I'm still using sacred with +2 core skills and I'm level 100, done up to hordes tier 6 with a version of this build, character level 100, all glyphs 15, a couple 21. Crazy I can't find any gloves. Are the +chain lightning a must? I remember you were using int, chc and chd in a revision of your build from a day or two ago. What gloves would you take if you can have CL on them?
I started the season with a frozen orb then wanted to try splintering, but as soon as I realized how much of a piano this is I gave up and started leveling an alt.
Just when I thought my CL + LS hybrid is probably going to be way worse than the other variants (especially FO + LS), Lurkin gives me hope 😁. No lucky hit chance rolls for Andi though? I'm currently playing Esadora and LS enchantment, because no Ubers yet and was curious. It looks fun too but probably stops scaling soon.
@Lurkin17 makes sense :-). Considering the time difference between no Ubers T7 and with Ubers T8, it looks like Andi makes a huuuuge difference. All in on lucky hit chance maybe the final build version?
it should giga blast now that it has splintering. i killed a T8 boss in 45 seconds. People were getting nuked. you change change reinforeced to winter if you want more damage or unleashed
beautiful build follows it to the letter but can you explain to me how you do not run out of mana? because it takes me a long time to kill the bosses D:
@@Lurkin17 Thank you for answering, very kind of you. It changed a lot when I put a collar on it with Mastery Conjuration. I sacrificed a little speed and critical to use the ice orb one, but I still ran out of mana quickly against high-level Tide bosses.
Just want to ask, does the actual chain lightning deal much damage or is the bulk of the damage coming from the axial condult pant effect because if thats the case then why do you even need to rank points up on chain lightning at all aside from just 1 point?
I think you still get damage out of CL, but Im sure you could do without the points in CL. I feel out builds and try different things. There are often too many moving parts to be able to spreadsheet sorc
@@Lurkin17 yeah ive been tinkering with a fireball cl hybrid and its not bad, the bounce from the fireball addresses the mana issues from the axial condult, i put cl as an enchant and due to how fast fireball cast, you get a fair amount of CL out fast. I feel the cl itself doesnt do much damage and its the same reason why you wouldnt rank up lightning spear beyond the 3 points or blizzard on an ice spike build since the bulk of the damage is from the aspect itself.
So I happen to have enough spark for one uber. If I craft Andariel can I jump into the Andariel version right away? Or I need to gather both Starless and Tyrael before changing my non-uber build?
@@Lurkin17 thanks man. Also I have another question, the Lightning spear is generated through Unstable Current mostly right? But since the spear count is so low, is it actually the main damage that carries this build?
Im almost done. Got 3 greater A's ! (stats, resistance and poison) on Andariel and only need 2 more mythics. Witch one should I craft first. Tyriel or starlight ring?
I found an Andariels with GA on life on hit. Masterworked once and got maximum res, so I reset once and got straight 3x attack speed!! What is up with this season!!
@@Lurkin17 Yeah I've only gotten 2x once or twice since the introduction of Masterworking, so never 3x until now. It's like the Force is telling me something here!
I try this but I still feel very squishy and I cant close pit 91 because the boss kill me first, same things with compass T7, I die before the end, what I doing wrong?
@@Lurkin17 I didn't have Tyrel, thought that Snowveil or Concentration will be enough but I was wrong xD. Now I got Tyrel with orange MW on DR and I basically immortal 👀
Question: Once Andariel and Starlight make me reach 100 attack speed bonus can I drop accelerating aspect on focus and replace with something else like conceited? (Plus for more boss damage what do you think about put gravitational aspect instead of shredding (since the high value of attack speed) and "adept" ghypt instead of "charged"?)
accelerating is a different bucket than attack speed affixes. but yes you can take conceited. and no not grav. you don't get much value out of a 1 rank ball lightning
@@Lurkin17 Ok, what if since I have orange DR on Tyrell I take away rank from ice armor and put on BL? Beside Isadora Cameo said it grant 1200% more lighthing damage. Is not worth put it and shift splintered on focus?
