I found this project by complete coincidence and I'm so glad I did. Animation style, music, the way the scale of the world is teased in this trailer, they're all perfect. Can't wait!
42 hours later i did beat this gem!! please play it! loveletter to JRPG´s. at least 9/10. Even has huge endgame and very good battle system! no grinding necessary, because balancing is that great!
You guys have finally done it. Snes style graphics- actual snes style graphics in the modern age. Normally people make "retro" games look worse than they ever did, but this? It looks as good if not better than the oldschool retro pixel art of the greats and surpassed them naturally without ruining what made it great. I love it,
you don't have to diss great indies just to praise this. tons of retro inspired look absolutely beautiful, including this. not like this is the first time this has been done. Crosscode is a big example
@@MegamanStarforce2010 All I am saying is that few games reach this height, I know there are others and loved crosscode myself too. It is true though that often games claim to be retro snes inspired but specifically are lower graphical fedeilty on purpose. This is one of the few games that really reach that level of impressive.
@@MegamanStarforce2010 @AugmentedOwl It's a pity that crosscode disappointed me with the combat system, the lack of different weapons and the display of the loot. As well as a chest, completely useless chests, there is nothing useful in them, but they are in hard-to-reach places. But the visuals of pixel art, the world built, some of the characters were done perfectly.
Oh my god. I'm incredibly impressed by what I saw. I am glad that the game will be released. So much time the game was developed without having any details. Judging by what they saw, the developers met expectations and even more. I'm waiting for a full release date. It's a pity of course that there will be no localization into Russian, because for such rpgs there is a lot of text inherent, to reveal the narrative, but regardless of the difficulty of the language, I will still buy the game, it is worth it. Such quality, detail and interesting mechanics, does not reach even a large industry with its expensive projects. Developers you are cool.
This looks awesome! I see a unique approach to elements of other games that I love like Octopath Travelers, Breath of Fire, and possibly a skill board like that of Ori and Final Fantasy 12. I did not know about this project until I read a Nintendo life article on it. The greatest was the launch reveal, I love the way you gave us the information. I am looking forward to playing the game!
Brazil is huge and buys a lot of games, here we have a lot of fans of this rpg style, you need to translate it into Portuguese to make good sales here!!!!!
You guy should make the fx on hit a lot more flashy, for example: where a cannon hit one of the big armored thing, theres not blast, no smoke, no sparks, no fire.... feels way too light
Really, really hyped by this game. Waiting for Eiyuden and Sea of Stars also... But what the trailer shows of the story and lore of Chained Echoes make me so impatient !
Man oh man was I so happy I found the demo it is an amazing game I highly recommend it as a buy I did send a review on steam hoping the dev sees that and can put in the one little fix. The sewer part forces you forward into a boss fight, and I missed exploring a little I was hoping the dev could put in a pause action at the final raft asking if you are ready to push on. Other then that it was instant on my wish list it has so many call back to other games as well the opening is a big one if you have ever played Chrono Trigger. I missed the kick starter wish I hadn't. On steam it says this year for projected release that will be awesome if true and this trailer shows they got a lot more done then just the demo I got to say I am looking forward to this game and cant wait.
wow they have kicked Ara fell style up a notch. Kinda like an earthbound Cosmic star heroine. I shall be psyched to play this and a welcome sight to see Turn based classic JRPGS evolve yet stay true to what made them fun in the 1st place
