I love watching speed runs without knowing anything at all because it will be like, wow he's doing so good! And then he'll say "fucking terrible. I completely choked". Hahaha
HOW people come up with speedrunning routes and the skips is beyond me ... glitching through random upright walls, having the horses respawn and throw you up, glitchjumping (5 jumps a second) up a corner etc ...
May I ask my bro, the 2297-meter trampoline, after I changed the frame rate, I have not been able to trigger the double jump to fly to the upper platform, what is the reason? What are the details?
@PzcNtyz I'm not the guy that found it, but from what I was told you, jump on the same frame, it bounces you. Lower frames have a better chance you hit it. That's why I double pressed the spacebar for it. First is for the timing of the jump when I get bounced, and then 2nd is to pull out the wings for the height that special bounce gives me
Congrats on ur run bro! I have a question, what is the reason you changed the framerate at 5:02? I've seen other speedrunners do that but I don't know what's the reason
Any tips for getting the horse more consistently? I have figured that the 2 wheels need to be at around 60° angle to the road and that does fling me up 80% of the time. The thing is it usually isnt enough to skip to the books. Is it just mostly rng or is there a way to predict how high the fling is?
Its basically to guarantee some jumps cant mess up on the timing since scrolling means you jump as soon as the character touches the ground while theres delay when you press spacebar after landing
@@zenvious5645its not for bhops lol. Its because in this game your momentum/speed depends on how fast you start flying with wings. It is physically impossible to do some jumps with only 1 button for jump. (On most keyboards anyways). It is of course also nice for bhops but in this game bhopping with space is quite easy. But bhops definately arent the main reason.
Bro ir Deafting the whole purpose of the game its called chained together and u have wings it would make sense and be cool if there were 2 people but there is 1 in not called only up
Who cares about 2+ player? No one. Most skips are practically impossible to do duo because they are so hard even on solo. Solo mode has been there since day 1 of the game. Theres a reason why most play solo when speedrunning.
@@yukit119 its literally just climbing. The only skill is doing the double tramp jumps/zeus skip etc. And there are only like 5-6 of those in a run. There are no time saves in movement when you can just scroll hop perfect bhops any time you want. Every single new wr is just 35+ minutes of the same shit over and over again and then maybe a new skip at some point. Its less skill and more time wasted. The game is very clearly designed for wings. There are way too many convenient skips that work only gor wings and are clearly meant for wings.
