Great Job Kirk. my father used to do this all the time he had a kink breaker an he would put new teeth as well. he used to cut a lot of wood and logs every year and because the wood was cut close to the river there was a lot of silt and sand in the bark hard on the teeth. he bought his chain on a roll and made his own. Hope you are having a good winter take care and all the best. PS Felling trees is the right word i have been told. but we always called it falling trees
You are very resourceful my friend, I thinking I'd be saying I'm falling tress over felling trees. But I think I'd probably say I was cutting trees myself lol. But definitely falling over felling. Have a great day my friend
Out in BC they call them FALLERS. That's how we always hear it. I just checked the website and the BC government has FALLER training, not Feller. But I may have heard it called felling a few times. Just depends where in the country you are. Good fix on the chain Kirk. You are a very good FELLER for showing us this fix!
Hello there Kirk!! Nice fix on your chain. I never thought of doing something like this but it makes sense eh!! Whether you call it felling, falling tipping, taking down, sawing down or whatever, as long as you get the tree down, you're on the right track!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
