@@zalabit927 my friend, could you please provide us with more info on this "other one" which u talk about so we can feel the unnatural and violent vibe of this show
hope they adapt the whole thing with the same quality because it gonna be hell of a story and character arcs. I also feel kinda jealous for so many anime watchers that they never experienced before with the manga because so many amazing moments in it.
I love how from 1:46 to 2:33 the piano (or whatever that instrument is) sounds like it's playing from a broken speaker or something like an old gramophone. It feels comfy but also slightly eerie, mostly comfy though.
There's something so eerily beautiful about the CSM OST, that I can't help but feel reflect in the real world. When I go out in the streets and hum this tune in my head I find it so fitting. The emotion this tracks gives is just "real", for the lack of a better word.
I feel like despite all the crazy shit that happens in chainsaw man, without all of the paranormal/fantasy elements, these are just people living in the real world. Even with fiends and hybrids like power and denji, they have humanity in themselves, something admirable and something terribly flawed. Just like people in real life.
To me, it's like a 50/50 kind of feeling. On one end, it makes you feel like you're content with your life as it is as you make memories that are worthwhile but have a sinking feeling that it will not last forever. On the other end, it makes you feel as if you'll drag on in a mix of melancholy and monotony, or even in despair, yet you also know deep down that it will be over soon, one way or another.
People saying things like "they modify it" "they ruined it" In the first place the version that's in the trailer is just a few layers, just a WIP (Work in Progress) version, not the final product so it was never modified, this is what we were supposed to recieve and we got it.
This music started playing in my head when Denji and Asa were running around stealing money together; having a good time. I can even imagine the panel of them smiling together at 1:06
ITS FINALLY OUTTTTT OMG been waiting for the official release of this ost idk why but I feel so much emotion in this song, but I can’t pinpoint what that emotion is
Loneliness. One that you feel after you’ve lost someone who filled that hole in your heart. But this loneliness is slowly numbing. And you’re just looking at the world around through a window. Not yourself.
This ost should totally be played when Denji opens the door. Combined with Sweet Dreams, a totally insane emotional soundtrack for that one specific "Snowball fight" episode.
The theme literally plays when Denji ask's if Makima is a good person, If it doesnt play during the build up to Denji opening the door, its a literal crime against the anime.
As a manga reader this ost it just hits so different not because of the manga there's so much to it nostalgia it's all the emotions u can feel like as if ur remembering something
I remember me reading the whole manga while listening to this melody in repeat (from the trailer). So much memories. This one will forever hold a special place in my heart ❤️
(Coming from a manga reader, don't know how others feel about it) I can't describe this OST. It makes you feel sad, happy, nostalgic, depressed and excited. Not sure if it's cause of the context of the story, the manga or I don't even know. I'm so confused, Kensuke - you're a genius.
If I ever achieve 25% of what was done with this song + the visual of Aki, Den, and Powie eating together with that melancholy lighting, I will be satisfied.
The first time this plays is when Denji is asking Aki if Makima's a good person, So I absolutely know a version of this theme will probably play when Denji has to open a door for her....
Man... i don't know how to describe this music but it literally gives me chills every time and it fits CSM perfectly, i hope Kensuke Ushio comes back for season 2.
Spoilers: This soundtrack perfectly captures Chainsaw man in the later half of the series. The incredibly dark and desperate turn it almost takes at the end is so shocking and horrifying and incredibly sad. And makes you realize how much Denji has gone through from the beginning. He started with nothing , and even lost the things the closest to him at the end. He has gone through so much but still makes it out and tries to still push on. Listening to this soundtrack makes you directly feel the desperate pain that denji went through. Kensuke Ushio is truly an incredible composer who is able to bring raw feelings to life. Amazing.
I remember that moment When i got high for the first time and the same day chainsaw man trailer release and it was raining outside i was constantly watched csm trailer when i was high...and some days after my crush confessed to me i was so happy at that moment and I still listen to this ost to this day to recall all of that way too nostalgic and fr this music always give me the vibe of sad depressing and happy somewhat at the same time (╥﹏╥)
Masterpiece of a track already. SPOILERS!! Those gunshot sounds really make me think of the Gun Devil chapters, specifically Aki vs Denji. God can you fucking IMAGINE if this song plays for those chapters?
i just noticed how aki literally looks like the gun fiend in the photo too. A gun barrel sticking out of his head with his right arm replaced with a gun
Oh my god, i'm so glad they officially released this! I first heard it in the trailer and i've been obsessed with it ever since. One of my fav OSTs ever.
I am in my room, on my bed, in the dark, not one light switched on, quietly humming this while my depression hums in lower tone. I'm harmonising with my depressed ass. It's makes me feel this nostalgia. Like I'm sinking slowly but floating at the same time. Like there's a gentle breeze right before the rainfall. It makes me feel this sadness that makes me feel those things. It makes me feel kinda depressed as well (if you didn't get that already, it makes me miss that dark familiarity). It gives a feeling of this chilled, unnerving, calming stillness & relaxation. It makes feel like the color violet. I love having feelings and emotions and I don't ever want to lose them.💜🎧🛌🕳️ Sorry for the spamming.
For those who love Csm and haven't checked boogiepop, Kensuke Ushio's other work, I recommend you listen to the soundtrack. Very similar in Vibes and musical ideas. Perfect while reading part 1 or part 2.
I can't describe it in words but this one has something so special about it. Ever since i saw the teaser it was stuck in my mind. It makes you think about what are you doing with your life, what has happened to you in the past years and what is yet to comr based on what you do today. Makes me feel alone but satisfied and relaxed at the same time. That's what makes it so special for me. I always hear it while i'm travelling alone. Thanks to the creator for this wonderful masterpiece.
Still enjoyed the more simple version of this from the first trailer. Though this is the final product. Enjoyable either way. Best OST from this series.
(SPOILERS FOR BOTH CHAINSAWMAN AND DEVILMAN CRYBABY) this feels similar in vibe to "from here to eternity" which Kensuke Ushio used at times to accent moments where our characters were just having a good time with eachother. It was also then used to great effect during the death of some characters who were extremely important to that series' protagonist. I foresee this song being used in a similar way during the snowball fight, which we probably won't end up seeing for a good year. I gotta say, I don't really get too broken up now going through the manga again but I am not looking forward to how seeing that scene animated is going to make me feel. That scene in devilman crybaby where the girl is running and gets taken out by the people in the car really had me in my feelings for a minute. Those tracks hold a lot of emotional weight to them because of the scenes that they are associated with.
I simply can't wait to see that snowball scene animated while accompanied by this music, especially From Here to Eternity. That song was playing in my head as I was reading those panels.
There is a reason why its called the livingroom the song is eri and disturbing almost like the team went to a another dimension from this realilty and clip through this endless poket dimension and everywhere you go is all the same.just look at the name living room does that seem familar to you hell the soundtrack makes you in a weird tone that makes you feel like you are in a place where there's no one around but you and you feel the lack of comfort almost like your'e in an office space but it's emty and with yellow texture walls yellow carpe
What i enjoy about the OSTs most is they urge unique vibe to every one here. Let's all share 'em out. I'll go first It' like all the good things slipping away from you as you unfold the bitterness of adulthood.
I agree with u...I feel it too often now. The bitterness of adulthood, how as u get mature, u see how selfish people get and how u r left alone in the end. This song really touched my heart. Now that I'm lonely despite with a crowd of "friends" still standing alone
