About four years ago I bought a Husqvarna 550 XP. From brand new I’ve always had difficulty getting it started. I’ve tried starting it with or without the compression valve depressed. I even took it back to the dealer and they said they didn’t have any problems starting it. After priming it five or six times and starting it on the ground it takes about 30 pulls before I get it to fire. Then after depressing the choke it fires right up. The last time I got it started it was very boggy until it warmed up for about 20 seconds.After that it runs perfect. It may start easier the colder it is but I’m not sure if that’s accurate assessment. Do you have any suggestions?
I bought a Husqvarna 562XP a couple months and and it's the same way, paid big bucks and had it back to dealer twice and he said there was nothing he could do. I just gave up on it and put it in the barn, bought an Echo 620P and no problems.
@@pete2bcI have had the same problem with a new 565 I have just bought, it will not start one day, then it will? listening to this video I think it could be the micro processor, these electronic things always give problems and there is no place for them on something like a chainsaw, maybe they work on a computer, but subject them to vibration and heat and they are toast, mine will be dumped in the barn and I will use my older chainsaw without gimmicks, why do manufacturer inflict these horrors on us ?
