There should be pressure on winning every knockout, especially considering the talent pool India has. The only problem is the trolling and toxicity that comes after a loss. Expectations are good, criticism is good, but there shouldn't be any toxicity or unnecessary trolling just because we lost a game. Winning and losing is a part of sport.

Robin Uthappa was a revelation. Such a deep thinker and yet has such deep empathy with players - especially those who have been 'targeted' by fans(?) who know nothing at all about the lives of these players simply building upon prejudices and rumors' exchanges. Some of these fans hold/held very responsible positions in their MNC organizations. (I pity their reportees and team members!) Finally this channel has been doing commendable service is presenting the inside view (without going down to gossiping levels as some high profile / profane channels do.) Hope Ashwin is able to change perceptions and make Indian fans intelligent students of cricket who do not take to proxy personality conflicts on behalf of players.

Exceptional game, especially because India had to dig deep to win this. 30 from 30 is a lost game 8-9/10 times these days. Dube and Axar stepping it up with clutch cameos in a pressure game. Hardik, what a guy, staying strong and delivering inspite of the ridicule and vitriol he faced from toxic fans. What a catch by S.K.Y, truly exceptional, cannot even imagine the pressure or the thoughts racing through his mind as he watched the ball then the boundary rope and then tossed it in. Bumrah and Arshdeep again stepping it up with the ball. And Rohit and Kohli finally getting there dance with destiny right and going into the sunset with the trophy. Emotional, Intense and awesome. What a final, and what a world cup for Team India. Truly a team effort!

Congrats to Indian team for winning the T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma as Captain was very impressive and used his resources well in the tournament. His batting against Australia and England was top notch. Virat Kohli kept his best for Final. Jasprit Bumrah was brilliant and is best fast bowler in World cricket. The batsman were fearful to attack him. The good all round performances of Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel were major reasons for successful campaign for India. Arshdeep Singh was superlative. Kuldeep Yadav was super impressive. Suryakumar Yadav was good consistently with the bat and took excellent catches. Risabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Siraj had their moments in World Cup. Boss, this world cup a win for a country has lot of emotions. Our country ability in any formats is looked myopic eye with grudge. Been following cricket from my childhood days, what all mockeries and insults we have takn it a pinch of sale. Jadeja might not have batted or bowled but as a fielder he contributed through the world cup just like Dube in the line up made the opposition change their bowling plans. The extra batsman instead of an out and out horses for courses bowler was imo a better solution in trying to have a consistent line up through the tournament.
