Is Paige a guest or a model? Around 3:45 she looks and sounds like a happy, comfortable guest, but in most of the rest of the video she looks like a model on a game show set -- as if she's there purely for looks, and it's very awkward. Bruno, I'm a huge fan, and I'm begging you: if you're going to have a guest, please engage them fully from beginning to end and let their natural personality shine through.

Recipe looks great and I appreciate every new video, but this felt really awkward. I don't see the point in having a guest if they just stand there and make occasional comments. It's just distracting. Had to stop watching halfway through. This really didn't work for me, sorry. I hope this was a one-off.

Bruno, very instructional video as usual. But i am not sure the value your guest brings. The focus changes from a single person perspective to a host/guest format. It changes the dynamics of both content and video technics. As always, delighted to see your talented modern touch to classical pastry chef skills.

In Greece, you might know it, we have a similar sweet bread, which is called Tsoureki. It has more herbs in it( like Mastixa, Machlepi Cardamom etc.) and we garnish it with almond fillets. We traditionally make it, in the easter time, but it can be made every day, and it goes perfectly with a cup of fresh coffee. You should make it sometime, Chef..!!

I made 4 loaves in one day. It will be my go to recipe from now on. I used more honey, 100 Grams and it was the right sweetness for us since we like a sweeter bread. Plus, I added raisins. I used 3 whole large eggs and did not weigh it out and it was fine. I also, use a bread machine to knead the dough for 10 mins. Only, then took it out to let it proof for 2 hours in an oiled bowl instead of keeping it in the bread machine because I didn't want the machine to over knead it and make it too dense. DONT FORGET TO LOWER THE OVEN TEMPERATURE. I also love Bruno's croissant recipe. Watch the braiding technique from Frum It Up.

Hey Bruno, be careful when shooting with a fast lens. In multiple shots here, the aperture is wide open and your two subjects are not within the plane of focus. It results in shots where one subject is in focus and the other isn't. Not something you normally worry about when you're the only subject but if you adding in a guest, might be worth keeping it in mind. Keep up the great recipes!

I make challa every week for shabat. The challa you have to be able to see the strings of bread when you cut it (you should cut it with tour hand and not you a knife as praying in the evening of the friday) so you should not use bread flour or if so, you should break the gluten so you get the strings... it's only a tradicion and there are many if those as you made in the market... also brioche challa. Anyway, the recipe is just about the one i use for years besides the flour i use and that i break the gluten. :)

I imagine Bruno as a secret lover to all the mature and soccer ladies wherever he is living. Just opening the window and letting the fresh smell of pastry fish out all the needy women around. Then Bruno shows shows them his mixer and tells "I use it just for fun, but I don't need it at all" and then closes his eyes and pretending that the body is the dough. I mean - it's so funny and nice, Bruno seems like a genuine person that we all want to be friends with.

Demand he make you crêpes suzette from scratch after hours of lovemaking, and he'll laugh and say "no problem." Cheat on him with the busboy, and he'll smile and say "c'est la vie." But suggest using dry instant yeast instead of fresh? Any woman who would do that with Chef Bruno is on dangerous ground.
