Welcome to my first challenge video!!! In this video I attempt to learn how to do an Ollie on my Penny board. I have no previous experience other than cruising so this was quite the challenge.
Let me know what you think about the challenge and the video. It's still early days so your feedback will really make a difference in how this channel grows.

Tip number 8: For a Penny board Ollie, keep your front foot on the logo (middle of board). Too far forward stops the board from popping up.

What you're doing wrong is you're not really jumping. Notice you're not moving your upper body. Gotta jump up and guide that skateboard.

when i was learning to ollie i made the same mistake you were making often which stepping down onto the tail instead of just popping by flicking your ankle down. Hope that was useful info since when u were having trouble on the timing it was because you aren't meant to pop down with your whole foot moving down, just by popping your ankle down

It’s a lot easier if you wear particularly patterned shoes, like vans, cause the pattern in them makes it not slide so much, but slide just enough

I would try on more of a smoother surface just because you wheels might be getting "pulled back/caught" in between the tiles

Sadly, my Penny-Boards tail is too short and i fall down.I am from Romania and we have the European version.Those are called Yamba.It has a short tail so i cant do it.I guess im gonna just go the original way☹️

One tip is you should practice more on the grass until you can do the ollie and land accurately on the board. If you can't land accurately on the grass you probably wont be able to on the cement and will very likely fall.

Hmmm... I'm thinking 3 possible things: 1) You're not popping hard enough 2) You're front foot is too far forward/centre 3) You're mot jumping enough at the right time. 4) I have no idea. 😅

Don't even think about trying to ollie on a pennyboard in the winter or autumn in the UK; It is very humid so your feet literally just slide on it. There is no fiction or not enough of it.

well if your feet are big then move them close together at the tail not too close just like a little back on the logo if u have small feet then u know in the logo i recommend using shoes XD its easier
