Hey! Click this link for more Scrollsaw Knowledge www.youtube.co...
Welcome to Adi's Little Shedshop and thankyou for watching.
I hadn't planned on this being more than the Quadrilogy of baskets that I had already made but I decided why not, I have a boat load of scrap as do most people so lets put it to good use and show what I do with it.
With that said, todays video is part 5 of my scrap wood challenge collection, from a piece of 9mm Hardwood Plywood this time, that I had laying around. Anyways this started out as a normal scrollsaw basket pattern and ended up as a Fruit Bowl, which I'm actually quite proud of, the biggest problem with this piece was the voids inside the plywood. which I dealt with in the way of SUPER GLUE and sawdust, (which is why you should always keep sawdust from the project you're working on). Sawdust and super glue have an amazing reaction together and set almost instantly which is great when you're working fast and want to keep going.
Plywood is probably the most underestimated wood to make nice looking things out of, but if you put in the time and effort you really can make something nice.
I hope you like the video and if you have any questions please feel to ask, away I will always try to reply.
Keep an eye out for the next instalment of the collection, coming soon.
