Covering up the hideous ABS area with the "UNDER HOOD HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT ABS MODULE COVER TRIM" such an inexpensive $35.00 part that makes the car look so much better under the hood. This part works in the Challenger, Charger and 300, however it only comes stock in the Hellcat.
Topped it off with another beautiful Burnt orange piece from Billet Technology. billettechnolog... This one autographed by the man himself Nick Billet.
Why brand my car you ask? Because Billet technology has helped me get my engine bay show ready for this season. For the last 2 years I've been showing the car with the hood closed. Now the hood is open ...even when there is no reason to have it open ;)

Sorry for the loss of you Dad. What a great gesture to put a remembrance of him in your Challenger, I'm sure he would be honored. Living in the south for the past 2 decades I had almost forgotten how northeast weather takes it's toll on aluminum. Looking forward to your mod to improve it's appearance.

I just finished installing my Mopar ABS Cover on my 2018 Dodge Challenger T/A 392. There is a cable running across just like the Hellcats. Luckily I was able to pull out the Christmas tree clips gently and reuse them afterwards without having to cut the existing zip ties. Thanks for making this video! Like all the other ones, this one was very helpful!

Great Video! So sorry to hear about your Dad! Some say you get over losing your parents. Not true. I think of my mother and father every day and don't really want to "Get over" them. Keeping them in my thoughts keeps them alive for me. Great to see you dedicating a piece of what you love, to someone you'll always love.

I don't think I want to get over him, I wan't to keep that reach for the phone to call him reaction every time I do something cool, Grab for my phone to call him every time I get on xbox live for some gaming. It's tough and I do get a bit sad, but there is peace in stopping and thinking about him for a little while.

I agree. As you wrote about "grabbing the phone", I used to always keep in touch with my mother. Anything big that happened with myself, my wife or kids, I'd call Mom to tell her about it. On the night I left the hospital, not long after she took her last breath, I remember driving home, teary eyed and feeling "out of body" (if that makes sense) and I was thinking to myself, "When I get home I gotta call Mom to tell her the bad news." Being sad and getting teary-eyed is just something I've gotten used to. But, it's all part of being human.

So you actually need the ABS cover to place the billet cover on top, thats cool, and Man I am sorry about your loss, its kind of like a shocker to me since I remember him from watching several times those cervinis shaker hood install videos last year, your idea will be a great memorial, keep up the good and inspiring work man

That is a good and special idea to dedicate a piece that will go on the car for your dad. My dad and I went to ball games and a little fishing so I really dig what you are doing. I just got my under the hood kit plus throttle body cover just waiting for door locks. Since it’s not my daily driver don’t know if I will do catch can. As always good vid

Just wanted to share my experience with Billet Technology. Ordered on 4/24/18 and getting delivery today 6/20/18. Almost TWO MONTHS. I called them and wondered what was taking so long. They guy was very abrupt and stated that this is normal turnaround time on orders. I gotta tell you, these better be PERFECT or I am going to flip! Almost 2 months on machined parts with anodizing is crazy and not to mention the prices these guys charge. Just some warning if you plan on buying anything from them, plan on waiting... a long time.

They are pretty transparent on the wait times when ordering items that are not in stock. They post weekly manufacturing updates on their site with order numbers so you can often follow your parts progress. I waited for my orders as well and each one was totally worth it, I also knew when I ordered though. . I can understand your frustration though not knowing what you ordered was going to take a few months

Sorry about your dad. I know what that's like. He's always going to be with you. I wasn't sure if you ever did a review on the Barton shifter short-throw? Also would be kind of cool to see how you organize your tools just to get ideas.

My wife is a colo-rectal surgeon, so I’ve learned a thing or two. That said, you make sure you get your butt (literally & figuratively) in for a colonoscopy when you hit 40. It’s usually 50, but if you have a 1st degree relative (your father), it’s recommended to do it at 40. Do it for your kids, wife and fans.

Thank you! Yes, ultimately I went with Billet Tech after checking out a few different catch can makers. The BT catch can was highly rated and they also make a ton of additional items for my car in the colort I wanted so it was an easy decision. I've also gotten to know the people there with all my little custom work and I really enjoy working with them.

The ABS cover comes with the "Christmas tree" fasteners with wire ties on them. In the end I wound up using them because they were more secure once the heavy billet piece was attached. I simply cut off the wire ties. ...and Thank you!

Check out www.spectreperformance.com they have a ton of conical filters in Black, Red and Blue, I install the black one in my video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bcaminpPQeE.html. I basically measured the filter height width, shape and most important the connection point and looked on their site for a match.

Work Play Drive one more question , is there any fuse to remove so the exhaust open o and I get a louder sound from it ? I have a friend that does that to his zl1 but I’m not sure if it’s the same with mine

Dna x nope if the Active exhaust doesn’t compete it’s start cycle it throws a code. you can get the AES (simulator) it allows you to lock them open and let the motors still do their thing.
