Greetings from Ireland. I found your garden room videos and enjoyed your good humour and then discovered your well being videos and I love the combination. I am a Cabinet Maker by trade but love all aspects of woodwork and carpentry and also have strong interest in mental health. Woodworking has been both a benefit and a challenge to my mental health over the years but has provided many opportunities for growth and learning. Thanks Mark. Very good advice. Just been to the timber yard and got $300 worth of cherry and black walnut for a dining table. This would be my most significant build! So I am aiming higher and hope I make it to the other side.
Great advice I had accute disseminating encephalitis in my twenties it’s left me with disabilities. If I hadn’t set my mind to positive and set goals I probably would still be in a wheelchair. I get frustrated and angry with my limitations but have to remind myself how fortunate I am as when I woke from my coma I was paralysed from the neck down. Goals are good even if we don’t achieve them we learn through our failures and it’s better to have tried than not at all. 😊
