This was our effort at hiking to a remote spot in one of the Sierra Ancha Wilderness canyons to access a cliff swelling of the Salado people who inhabited this are at one time. We found it exceedingly difficult and made more so by hiking with our dogs.

Ty glad a rock didn't fall from the ceiling. Every time I see this place I wanna go but like everyone says these days, use a selfish stick and don't go inside. 😊

Who is saying to use a selfie stick and not go inside? US Forest service sign posted in this area doesn’t ask you stay out of the structures

you almost bumped your head into a beam? eek. this is why people are asked to not enter these ancient structures.

There is a posted sign from US Forest service and no where on there do they ask you not to enter these structures. I am curious who you are referring to when you say people are asked not to enter them.

I can hear you scraping your way through these ancient doorways...rubbing your hands across the old mud used to line the stones. How incredibly disrespectful of you and your animals to treat these ancient ruins in this way. Sad.

Ok found it Netzahualt Happy Fox also known as Felix Nabor 1877 til 1972 Pueblo Indian. Clay sculptor 1920 thru 1950 for sideshow with circuses. Use to come to my school while sculpture animals would tell us stories. Your welcome.
