Dude, I don't get why more parents don't teach their kids how to cook at an early age. Kids can be so self-sufficient if you give them the opportunity.

seriously though. i've been cooking meals for my family since I was around 8. unsupervised at 10. it's not that hard. it's definitely something all parents need to teach their kids.

@@splaty4 Okay. Honestly just from growing up cooking and helping my little sisters/brother cook (who have opposite personalities) you don't have to worry. It is possible to learn how to cook well and be self-sufficient. You are 100% a capable human and with practice, you can learn how to cook anything. IDK. It's just super helpful to know how to cook for yourself, and I think most people can if they try. It also made me appreciate food more since when you make something yourself you tend to appreciate it more.
