Real workhorse palm. Can be utilized in many ways, and adaptable from Vancouver BC to PHX to NOLA to FLA. Can't ask for much more

It's an amazing palm. I bought the variety cerifera for my garden 4 years ago. My country is Switzerland and I saw this palm doesn't have any problems with the coldness 😊. But this variety seems to be not so frequent, isn't it?

I live in Michigan, and I grow one inside. I was wondering if it is possible to take off the offshoots because I don’t have the space for more than what’s in the pot since the sunroom is occupied by plants.

I was wanting to see the fan stems to see if is the same as the one I have but the video does not show them. Does it have very sharp barbs between the trunk and the fan?
