9:40 : The tongue-flute is no vocal chords, no voice, just air passing through the tunnel that you make with your tongue. It's very specific, difficult to master, and most people who practice it for the first time can't produce a pitch for a good hour, maybe more, and that lady did it first shot, which is amazing.

9:50 You put your tongue like that and blow air through it. It's a whistle, you don't use your voice at all to make that sound. You can however use it in combination with your voice as you can see in D-low's performance. It's notoriously hard to learn which is way he's surprised. D-low has a tutorial if you're curios, just look up "tongue flute"

@@dustabeatbox571 Yeah dude, i like a lot D-low and zekka but colaps... idk i don't like his arsenal of sounds. Most of them sound funny to me. Without a question he is very clean while performing them... but still i don't dig his stile. For me colaps is way down like top 10. But that's only my opinion 😅

To comment on your *previous* video: I don't think he has absolute pitch, in fact, I don't think he can even read music notation at all. What he does have, I think, is absolutely relative pitch =D If you want to be amazed by another beatboxer, I strongly suggest you react to "Den - Twisted Fate". It's also an entry for an online battle and I think Den is more agile than DLow when it comes to using his singing voice in beatbox. You'll understand when you see the video... I also think he's better at composing entire song structures imho. Edit: that last guy with the glasses talking about ableton, he's an opera singer who got interested in beatbox.

I've met den and he actually does have absolute pitch. He can hear any pitch and say what note it is without a reference, down to his electric toothbrush. Now obviously this doesn't mean that he cant sing off pitch during performances, because that has more to do with being in an uncontrolled environment, nerves, dry mouth, moving around while singing, etc. But it's also why in a controlled environment he has such good intonation

Ah man, I literary have dyscalculia because I always mess up numbers or change their order somehow. I can't tell you how many time I've messed up my weight, temperature or something similar like that by switching up the first and the last number...
