The Kujo player is Ren's friend Kai who played bass in the Back on 74 track. He actually shaved his head for this so he would look more like Kujo. That's friendship.

While the Sick Boi was not just a dope song a lot of ppl related to, because of it touching so many ppl in a positive way it was a song that kinda justified all the sh*t Ren went through in his life, you know... so that he was able to write that piece and give voice to countless humans suffering in solitude. So yeah, taking it down is not just an emotional blow for Ren, it's also spiritual as it cuts into The meaning and reason of his struggles in life. Man one thing I learn with all this is how much we love ren we don’t even know him personally. Yet he touched all of our heart with his genius art painting a picture that most people wouldn’t understand yet look at all of us right now white , black , brown , yellow. Purple, blue FEEL IT HIS MAN PAIN ITS REAL ITS SO REAL THAT ALL OF US HAVE THEM SAME PAIR OF SHOES . Ren is the only artist that actually made me want to be better just with his story how he over came his illness and came on top never sold out never broke character because he never played one. I was broken bad when I first heard hi ren I was relieve when there was some one out there feeling wat I was feeling and boom I found the renegade from all parts of the world yet with the same soul as ren it’s beautiful music saves life and ren did that for me. One of the funniest things about this whole situation is, if you search for Kujo Beats on RU-vid, every single video that it brings up is either a ren video or a reaction to a ren video. He has literally taken over the dudes only way for people to find him.

No Kujo only had it removed from RU-vid via a copyright strike (not the way to tackle this). It was still live everywhere else. Ren only (reluctantly im sure) removed it from all other streaming platforms after negotiations broke down and Kujo started getting greedy.... no more publishing payments for Kujo. Check mate. Kujo shot himself in the foot royally. He will get his backdated publishing payments but Sick Boi it won't generate him a penny more. And I'm guessing his lawyer who seems to be stringing this along by making uterly unrealistic demands over the master that will never be agreed, is using Kujo as a cash cow. Silly greedy naieve man.

Watching from the UK, seeing Ren's track half an hour ago, and now very keen to see your reaction. Ren's as creative, hard-hitting and clever as usual. I love what he's done. I love BP and Don's reaction and breakdown, too - a must watch (just like Cliff Beats reaction- your reactions and explanations add to the enjoyment.)
As I said on Knox's vid. This isn't "shots fired", this was "nukes deployed". Never push a person as bright as Ren into his dark side, you WILL regret it.
Your background summary missed a few key pieces. Ren buys the unlimited beat from kujo. Kujo didn’t clear the sample. People who own the sample come for their cut of the publishing. Rens lawyer says kujo/beat stars should absorb the cost since it’s their screw up. Kujo and Rens lawyer talk for three months, while Ren hasn’t once been made aware of any of it the whole time. So kujo isn’t getting what he wants from Rena lawyer, and issued a copyright strike on the RU-vid video “to get rens attention”. Ren shows ridiculous good faith and patience, offering up a few incredibly fortuitous workarounds despite not owing kujo shit. Kujo’s lawyer says nah, give us a split of the master or else we’ll take everything. Ren finally says fuck you I’ll take it down my self.
So basically Kujo is not paid his publishing money because of an error on the part of the publisher -> He asks for his money -> Bulgarian choir starts to demand their money -> Kujo refuses to take the damage for that -> Publishing company holds Kujo's publishing money hostage -> Kujo issues a copyright strike to hold Ren's beat hostage -> Ren gets involved. The rest escalated because a) people got upset b) Kujo probably just does whatever his lawyer tells him because he is not confident in his own knowledge on this c) Kujo's lawyer is paid by beatstars who do have somewhat different interests in this than Ren or Kujo d) Ren is pretty masterful in crowd control and publicity and Kujo and his girlfriend are... not that great e) Kujo is desperate for the money because it is the only way to save his future (for the consequences of the stolen sample) - Just my guesses and how I understood this.

I like the new studio. Seems pretty laid back - a little less "business" model. I have a lamp shade just like that, but mine is over a vine style wall lamp rather than a leg in a high heal shoe. 😆 "He looks like a rabid beast" - seems fitting when the villain in this story is named Kujo who, as Don mentioned, was the name of the rabid dog from the Stephen King story/movie. Hadn't looked at it like that before. Nice! Love that you brought this back to the positive of also hoping Kujo learns from this rather than being all about vengeance. Also appreciate that you guys emphasized putting time and energy on stuff you find worthy of promoting rather than things you don't like. What you feed has more potential for growth. Bravo! 👏

Ren bought the full licence to be able to use it internationally. He covered himself. The issue was with the stolen sample by Kudjo....and then he wants more money. Kudjo even praised the track before it blew up.
The stolen sample and the unpaid publishing at technically two unrelated things but I think the stolen sample is (currently) the reason why the publisher is not releasing the money. Even though I am not really if they are really allowed to do that. But as someone somewhere explained, it is better for them to hold on to it and pay the interests/fines for that than to pay Kujo what he is owed and never see it again when they try to get it back with the stolen sample case.

Brilliant im a Ren fan ❤ Kujo's girlfriend wrote she would break Rens knees , if Ren had written that it would be seen differently. He could sue them he is being much kinder by just writing a song. Definitely we should respect Rens wishes no hate well to anyone i can't hate on people too.❤
