I like how no skill perks that require no effort to activate or totally okay for killers but when it's a survivor they have to make it tedious or just stupid or way too risky to be used😅

Two repliers above me are idiots. 1. The “no effort” perks for killers are either useless (lightborn, distressing, etc.), are hex perks, or can be disabled easily by survivors (there are some exceptions).Survivor perks may be harder to activate than killer perks because there’s a max of 16 survivor perks total in one match compared to 4 for killer. 2. Champion of light isn’t a troll perk, 20% hindered on a successful blind is way more useful than residual manifest. Breaking pallets will be a bigger time loss for most killers that get blinded by someone with champion of light

@@snewp_e2139first of all champion of light is nerfed. The speed debuff for killer and 50% haste for survivor only occurs once every 60 seconds. And to the idiot saying light born will be meta is joking. No way light born is meta 😂. Champion of light isn’t worth running at all because of it’s cooldown being huge.

@@dankdaze42069what do you define as “no skill”? Do you mean little to no risk and insane reward? Both sides recently in history had DRASTIC changes to gameplay, with gens on killer side and healing for survivors. No longer are we seeing killers use the eruption + jolt + call of brine + overcharge 3-gen lobbies that plagued the game (dead mans switch and pain res as well). Similarly, we no longer see survivors rocking insta-heal builds with boon healing and BHVR went as far as to hit med-kits and change healing (and gen repair) timing. There are perks that each side has access to that CAN be “tedious/too risky”, but that is implemented to make the reward require a risk to begin with. Personally, I noticed gaming in general following a pattern of releasing busted game-changing features with a price on it, wait for the money, then nerf to hell. That isn’t to say DBD has no free or older killer/survivor perks that get nerfed even years later, as we saw with NOED, Spine Chill + Resilience (I miss this combo every day), etc. However I do think there is a way to go about this without the disgusting post-dlc nerfs. Like, how did Made For This even make it past the PTB? Or the big “Basic” and “Special” attack clarifications in perks because of how much of a hold Nurse held on the perks BHVR could even release? (Note: due to current meta prior to Alan Wake’s release, as Survivor I tend to run a “See No Evil Hear No Evil Speak No Evil” build with Calm Spirit, Distortion, Windows of Opportunity/Wiretap and Lightweight/Hope. I noticed I lose too many times to Chucky’s new Exposed perk and BBQ&Chili if my team is getting hooked often so my perks help fix that.)

Disagree, sometimes it's not as easy as it seems to spot a 3-gen when you can see all auras; and Plunderer's Instinct also gives you more chance to obtain better items therefore it's not comparable in any way. Boon: Illumination should also show all survivor auras and door gates tbh

Me too! Boon illumanafion can be the best revealing perk in the game, as, like you said, it only takes up one perk slot. Plus it could be paired with pharmacy or residual manifest because it can see all chests too

Ultimate weapon does have a pretty significant cool-down. And it can be hard countered entirely with Calm spirit lol.

@@Nokronz calm spirit is gradually becoming more meta of a perk. And even then you can counter it with a locker. Don’t get me wrong it could do with some tweaking. But it’s not ‘end of the world’

This perk is actually so good, literally gives you free distance for blinding the killer, good for chases

@@SolidRazothis perk isn’t a good perk it’s just a ok perk if you blind a killer with this he’s just gonna drop chase and it has a major 1 minute cooldown it’s easily avoidable to not get blinded

@@kingemeraldbonesok8270 if they drop chase then you just straight up won the chase and now you go back to doing gens, and with flashlights I think this perk is a okay perk, but with flashbangs? That might be a different story of how good it but we’ll see when it comes out

@@estrelaplatinada6506 I would go out of my way to not slug and tunnel but with the gen perk's being almost useless now it's basically a requirement if you want to get more than 2 kills and you're not playing a hard meta a killer

Whats great is that theres not a lot of room for error as a result when discovering they have lightborn so you can pretty much negate the effects of discovering theres lightborn and getting hit, because of the movement speed
