Just played this and could hardly believed my eyes when I saw it because of the boxing theme. Would be great to see a modern version. The jump rope challenge is so cool and quite tricky. Great video.
for a short time only..you can use the center post to rest the ball against,..from there it should exactly hit the left and right jabs respectively ,..then you can perform a single punch to the jaw for knockout.
Never seen one in the wild but I find this game crazy fun in FX3 (Cab mode). Would love to play the real thing someday. Thanks for doing this video. nice and HQ!
Glad I went through your back catalogue (calm down Spencer). Played this at Pinfest last year and for me it was one of the standout pins there. Great artwork, superb callouts and really, really fun to play. 'What about the theme' they cry, well I've been going into some rather questionable 'churches' for 40+ years so it's a brilliant theme and I've probably come across real life versions of all the characters you have to fight. I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Superb. Great vid 👍
I remember this when it came out.. i liked it but no one else did and it disappeared quick. my tech resto guy was Aus rep and says there are only a dozen or so in australia and they never sold a new one. No one bought them so they ran them themselves and sacked them quick . Sadly. the appreciation for this is now as high as the price.
The match for free game feature can be enabled or disabled depends on the arcade. Whenever the player matches the last two digits of their score to the magic number, a replay is awarded. The probability of a free game is not always one in ten; on average is like one in approximately thirteen games.
Adored this love letter to probably my favorite pin. The arcade near me had one, but the fighter toy started having issues, and they took it off the floor. 😔So sad. I've never seen the ramps though! This pin you have is in gorgeous condition! 😍 Rumor over here in the states is that some of the humor and questionable stereotypes made it a difficult pin to sell...🤨I love very new-agey pins, like anything from JJP, but Champion Pub is a classic and will always be #1 to me. In any event, it's time for multi-brawlllllllll! 👊💪
Played this at Pinfest this year, first time I’d ever played it and your right, hooked on it, and they’ve got it at Medway which I went to the open day and I couldn’t leave it alone. I’m in the process of getting Ant to restore my T2 shortly and then hopefully after that I’m going to set out to try and buy this next. 😬😬
is a great game like to get hold of one. I don't understand why it wasn't more popular, I think it's a British thing and Americans didn't get it. how much does he want for that machine?
Huh, don't know how to use the ball saver post to your advantage when a fight starts? Let it stop the ball, then hammer out a left-right-left loop combo and finally hit the lit up-ramp to KO your opponent. 😎
Gonzo...help me out mate. I have a chance to pick this up, but worried about it fitting in my line up. I have a small collection of the great classics like STTNG, IJTPA, MM, and TZ. How does this fit in my line up? The one I'm looking at is priced at $6k USD...what do you think? In the last three years I haven't seen one for less than 6k, but then again the ones I have seen around this price tend to sit for a long time. My other options for near the same coin are Star Trek Pro, Deadpool Pro, The Shadow, Spider Man, X-men LE Wolverine.....which would you pick?
Hi mate, I would pick Deadpool but it probably doesn't fit into your line-up. In order of preference . . . . Deadpool, Spiderman, Champion Pub, Shadow, X-Men I wouldn't bother with Star Trek because you have Next Gen which has similar shots but I think is better.
