I like to think the people they hired, didn't know how to cast a gaming event. So they were just saying what they could to at least make it somewhat entertaining. I think they ended up doing a good job later in the event. But the beginning was just plain hard to watch.
I appreciate you doing this. I do think a cringe cut might be too long as you'd have to basically record every time the host talks. You may as well just link to the stream vod at that point.
2nd this. the host wasn't THAT BAD imo, the major problem i had is just with the production of the event in general. too many tech issues and issues of not knowing what was going on (things not running smoothly, i guess?) for a big name brand hosting a big event such as this.
yeah, it's not too professional and not ideal, but at the end of the day i still don't think there was ill-intention. he was just trying to be entertaining. i could see having a problem with it and not wanting to keep watching bc of it, but i don't think it was terrible imo.

Man these kind of things always turn out sucky, the presenters just yak on and on throwing people of playing the games. The layout for floppy birds was shit, if I'm playing a video game I want to face straight at it. The poor girl was sat at like 30 degrees off centre for playing a game well
