i am not a shipper. i don't like to assume things unless i see a solid proof. Hence, I have never shipped anyone in my life. However, chanbaek hits different... istg there is something there.. idk what but something's different about them.
It’s probably the fact that a lot of the evidence isn’t publicized stuff or fan service, there are a lot of ships where the main source of evidence is mainly fanservice (not going to name ships, but there are plenty that I’m sure pops into your minds). Meanwhile chanbaek are going around their business as private as possible and have stopped a lot of public fanservice (a lot of videos here are unofficial fancams, videos, and photos).
chanbaek looks like two bestfriend who fall in love with each other but cannot be together but cannot hide their love and lose control of it sometimes.. especially baekhyun who cant hide his eyes..his eyes tells everything when he look or stares at chanyeol..and thats one of the things make me question their relationship

There are many people who call chanbaek shippers delusional, but most of them are simply homophobic. We’re not just fangirls who want to see two boys fall in love. Many of us are LGBTQ+ and when we see a relationship like this, there are signs we notice from our own personal experiences. No one can know for sure if they are in a romantic relationship, but we all know the idea is still a possibility. Whether simply best friends or more, chanbaek are two amazing and talented people who have given many of us reason to hope for things such as mutual love. If they are a real couple and ever come out, their relationship would be a big step forward to how the LGBTQ+ community is seen in Korea, as they are a part of one of the biggest groups we have ever seen in the KPOP community.
I wouldn’t call people who are against shipping same gender idols together “homophobic” you have to realize that “shipping” can actually cause tension between idols. They aren’t homophobic they just think it’s weird how people are obsessed with shipping them together and trying to make it a fact that they are dating when they haven’t even confirmed it.I was once like that, still partially am but that doesn’t make me homophobic
Kamryn I totally understand! I’m only referring to those people who will say no to an LGBTQ+ ship and ironically ship things like Rosé and Chanyeol simultaneously. It’s the double standard lots of homophobes have that trigger me, not someone saying they don’t ship idols because it’s weird. Idols are humans and it’s none of our business who they date, but while I do ship Chanbaek, I’m not going to ignore the fact that a lot of this “proof” can simply just be our imaginations running wild.
I love how EXO remains unbothered (except Suho) 😂 but there's something in Jongdae that he just give a meaningful smile whenever ChanBaek is around each other. I’m the kind of shipper that loves fanfiction around those ships but doesn’t necessarily think they will happen in real life, but chanbaek is the one ship that just seems so real to me and I’m hoping they will come out as a couple cause this is just adorable! The way they have these little touches, the way they look at each other and the fact that the other members are seemingly trying to cover it up makes it seem like it might be true. The aren’t overly clingy like other “real” ships because of course they would try to keep it a secret. God I really hope this is real because in my eyes they would be the perfect couple!

There are too many signs, to say it’s fake. There is more than just hugs and videos of them smiling, because tbh every ship has those... I mean ofc they all have those, all exo members love eachother, but Chanbaek seem to have more to “prove” to “support”.
