Larry Bees ! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. You had good fortune on this beautiful Aberdeen day casually coming across the Park for an ideal viewing. On a couple of occasions I had the late Queen pass by me on a rope line in Ottawa and had what seemed a very good view on the mall for the coronation. The sound of the pipes I aways find reassuring, touching chords of memory and ancestry as indeed the sight of the King also can do. We take our refuge where we can find it. It's nice of the journalist to move out of the way for you as HM approached. Many thanks again.
Why do people feel the need to record these encounters on their mobile, instead of just enjoying the moment? Apart from anything else it is damn rude if they are close by the King..
