I think this palette looks pretty but it was too smokey for me so I passed on it. The shades also look incredibly dupable, like you said. I'm sorry to hear that the eyeliners didn't work out for you. I've always wanted to buy Brun Agape but now I'm not so sure. I expected better quality from this brand, especially with those high prices.
Yes the smokiness is not for everybody. That's why I used it first as a daytime palette, bc smoky is not my everyday look. There are so many other liners on the market that I think are better. Brun Agape, though, is my favorite Chanel liner of theirs. Maybe try Chantecaille Luster Glide Silk Infused Eye Liner in Jasper? It's very similar, cheaper, and goes on silkier on aging eyelids, and has more product than Chanel.
UPDATE: I'm using this Eclat de Nuit mostly as an everyday easy looking, doing the first look the most. I love combining it with the Holiday 2023 Lumiere Graphique eyeshadow palette!
