@@luzposada829 Hello! There are 6 shades available from "light" to "deep" but there are no undertones indicated. It's a sheer product so it will work for anyone. You should choose your shade depending on how pale or how dark your skin is. For example if you're wearing n.10 in Chanel's foundations then you should choose "light". If you're wearing n.20, then go for the next shade which is "medium light" etc. Wishing you a lovely weekend! xx

OMG! Thank you for these closeups. It's so useful. Usually youtubers don't like to show their skin up close and it's very frustrating because I can't see how the product looks and what it does for the skin. You're such a nice person.
I have really never worn foundation, although I've bought a few, and had them matched to my skin tone, it just always felt like I was wearing a mask of some sort. This Chanel product is really the perfect answer to those of us that are not into tons of make-up. I love Chanel products and have worn them for years and this really is a step forward for those of us who want totally natural, yet a slight bit of enhancement. I'm ready to purchase it , and I thank you for such an honest and complete review of the product. It's what I've been looking for , for many years.

I totally agree with Lisa B. I hate the feel of makeup. I use Chanel vitalumiere Aqua, healthy glow powder, healthy glow sheer color stick, healthy glow moisturizer tint, and les Beiges lip balm and I feel as my face has nothing on it. I tried Chanel powder blush and powder compact, I didn’t like it cuz I could feel that mask you talk about and you could see the makeup sitting on my face. (I have dry skin).

That’s my new favorite foundation. It makes my skin look great. I don’t like anything heavier. I need concealer for dark circles but the rest of my skin is pretty good so this is perfect. I use a pump for my face.

Did I learn of you through Michelle Wang? Great recommendation! This face product looks like a good option for a beach vacation. Whenever I go to Florida, I feel odd wearing foundation going to the pool, but I still cannot leave the house naked. I just can’t. I also have this eye shadow palette and love it! I am so glad they finally included light shades that actually have payoff (unlike Tissé essential). I was most surprised by the two darker shades on the right. I was apprehensive to use them, but they are somehow extremely beautiful. In real life, they are not as dark as your swatches.
Both products are stunning and I can’t wait for them to come to the states. I often just use a tinted moisturizer and this new foundation looks beautiful and so natural-perfect.

I absolutely love this water formula 'foundation'! I prefer a light coverage anyway and love the natural, healthy glow and general balancing effect. Perfect ;) And the whole experience feels luxurious and very special. This isn't an everyday thing for me. I reach for it when I want pampering or a special occasion x

The Glossier Skin Tint is a very nice product, one of my faves, and much cheaper. You’re not going to get the same luxury packaging, but in the end it’s the product inside that counts.
Looks like a really lovely palette. Do I need it? Probably not. Will I get it? Probably. I have several of the Chanel neutral quads (think Claire Obscur and the regular Les Beiges palette with five colors) but I'm really liking this look. Thanks for the heads up! Looking for it in April. :)
I think that makes your skin look beautiful. I may have to purchase it. I prefer a light coverage. I don’t feel like I need heavy foundations so I love a thinner skin perfecting foundation. My favorite is the Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua. Its on the lighter coverage side.

Angela van Rose Super light coverage is fine with me. I did order it and i ordered the powder too. The products are supposed to be delivered today. I read that you can use it as a primer as well, and I do wear light to medium foundations so I can wear it underneath. I’m so excited. It will be perfect for summer in Virginia USA. Thanks. Thanks, this looks wonderful, like the natural perfected look that I strive for on most days. The Chanel support made me a bit unsure about which shade of the waterfresh tint to buy. They told me I should buy a shade lighter than my skin, because it darkens once applied. I have fair skin, in the Les Beiges tinted moisturizer I am shade light and while it matches my skin, I sometimes feel I could use a tiny bit of warmth/ colour. Will it matter much at all, as the formula is so sheer? Or will the eau de teint in light not make me more pale, but just more radiant? Then it would be fine.
Well ... yes. If you want it to match your skintone better, you have to go a shade lighter. The idea behind the Les Beiges powders is to warm up the skin so the colors are intentionally darker than usual. I personally like to get a shade lighter and it creates a beautiful healthy effect that warms up my skin a little. If you want you can also check out their Poudre Universelle Compacte (natural finish pressed powder). It gives no powder effect just as Les Beiges but you can choose your exact shade. It's not darker than the usual shades. xx

Hello :) Thank for watching and for the suggestion. When I film a foundation review I prefer not to put anything additional on my face. My aim is not to look beautiful but to show the people watching my videos how the product really works. That's why I always try to film in natural daylight when it's possible, and I show "extreme" closeup of my skin. I think this is more fair to my viewers because I really don't find it useful when I watch foundation reviews and the beauty blogger/RU-vidr has her ring light on and looks flawless and I can barely see anything on her face. I do a lot of reviews of very expensive makeup. For some people these products are a serious investment and I don't want to mislead anyone. It's better to see my dark circles but at least you will know for sure what the product will do for you. I think this is an honest and fair approach and I prefer to keep my foundation reviews this way :) Wishing you a lovely Sunday! xx
I love the way this foundation looks on you. i think I would love it, but I can't justify the price ATM. I've just spent too much on skincare and make up this year. Maybe next year I'll get some Chanel products. Also, I think this is the only video where you look truly tired ;-) I've never seen your eyes almost closing.
I love your video! Did you apply anything on your skin before applying Eau de teint - primer or sunscreen, for instance? Since the Eau de teint doesn't have any sun protection, I imagine you'd have to wear some kind of sunscreen over or under it.
Hi Barbara! :) In this video I applied only Hydra Beauty Micro Serum before applying this tint but when I use it on a daily basis I always apply sunscreen before applying the foundation. I wear spf 50 all year round. Have a lovely weekend! xx

So let me get this straight more than 70% water and the price, Chanel must be making the worlds most expensive water these days? I’m sorry but these eye colors are yawwwn! Boring! I’ve bought a lot of Chanel but they’ve been getting more boring IMO. I invested in a number of eyeshadows from Chanel and this eye palette is pretty underwhelming. I do enjoy a good luxury product if it’s of better quality then the rest of the market but really Chanel Beauty products have gotten smaller and smaller size and higher price points (frankly vulgar price points) I have invested in a range of more colorful Chanel eyeshadows before they reformulated many and made the pan sizes smaller. I bought the new LA Covershoot eyeshadow pallette from Smashbox and it was more colorful and included more colorful shades with some of the same neutrals and has12 eye colors that are arranged in groups of 4. That one is gorgeous with no fallout and larger pan sizes for the highlight shades. Price for that one $45.00. I’m new to your channel and I’m sure you do a nice job of describing the products but IMO if your gonna spend that much money on a Beauty product then it better be dramatically better than anything else on the market. I think most couture houses use the makeup as a way to get people who really aren’t rich enough to buy their clothes but want to feel special and buy what they can afford. I think Chanel Beauty has been riding on the very richly brocaded coattails of their haute couture clothes for many years now. With K Lagerfeld’s passing it will be interesting to see where Virginie takes the label. She was his right hand per his own words. Her style game will need to be a bit more chic IMO. Karl had a unique and quirky side but his love for starched high collar shirts, gorgeous tailored coats and his fingerless gloves gave him a unique but classic style. Cmon Chanel! Give us some makeup that could justify the lofty prices!

It's very expensive and I have one more video dedicated to this tint. This is not a product for everyone. I like it because I don't wear foundation every day and my skin is generally in a good condition. I don't have botox.
