I agree with you about Comet. I did purchase a bottle & whilst it's a beautiful perfume it isn't long lasting so I'll enjoy what I have but won't be repurchasing. I love Chanel fragrances but find a lot of them are very watered down now which is unfortunate given the prices.
It seems to be a trend now. Dior have ruined a few of their perfumes this way. I cannot justify those prices. I think generally, the first editions are always the strongest formula, and then they get weaker afterwards. I do love the No5 L'Eau, though The new one in the egg shape has stayed true to the original bottle I purchased. I am enjoying Givenchy Irresistible lines, too, as they have some great longevity on the skin. Especially the Rose Velvet version. This is really beautiful. Thanks for your comment.
