Chanel's eyeshadows are literally ridiculius 0,5 g per pan so.... Twenty years ago glosses, eyeshadows, mascaras were much, much bigger and much, much cheaper.

I was so tempted by the blush, but your review helped convince me I won't enjoy it enough at that price. I'll just have to console myself with my Fantaisie de Chanel blush while I contemplate the blue eyeshadow quad that I shouldn't want but do 👀 Thanks for your review!

The blush is lovely!! 😊This collection gives me summer not spring. Really lively and vibrant on fair skin. Especially the palettes. I'm disappointed we have 2 oranges 🤔too similar to make any difference or serve a purpose. It's basically a trio. Was hoping one would be a more golden shimmer

Great review, Lexi! I actually just ordered a couple of items from this collection on the Chanel website today. I purchased the Rivage eyeshadow palette and the Baume Essentiel in Mermaid Glow. I decided to skip the Coral Treasures eyeshadow palette because I just don’t think I would wear those colors on my eyes. I also passed on the blush because I figured I already had those colors, and I personally like a little luminosity in my blush. But I do agree that this is a beautiful collection, and I’m excited to see what this new team will create next.

Thank you, Lexi! I bought the Baume Essential in lieu of the powder highlighter. It is so much prettier than I thought and I was thinking I had made a mistake. It is really beautiful in sunlight! I have the oversized Pearly White highlighter and I’m unsure If I will ever make a dent in it. 🤣🤣

Hi Lexi, fantastic review, comparisons and thoughts! I love embossing and sparkle so I'm happy everything looks so beautiful on you. I know you don't love glitter in your highlighter but I actually love this highlighter as both a highlighter and especially as an e/s topper as you mentioned and demonstrated... that blue reflect is getting me lol. I'm with you on the blue e/s quad with the iridescence not that I dislike the other. Just such a really pretty collection! 🤩✨❤️

Fantastic review !! I love how you combined them !! I have the 2 palettes coming and the blush and the blue nail polish .. no highlighters because I am 56!! I’m happy to hear the positive reviews on this Chanel collection (it’s been a while 😆)! I agree the eye quad with the blue shadow may be easier to use for natural everyday look with the brown matte. So maybe I’ll get that one. I’m intrigued by the blush & highlighter but I feel I have previous Chanel blushes & highlighters. I do like the lip shade so I may get that. I’m just happy to hear the new formulation did not get worst. Very nice review! Thank you for the demo & swatches! Have a great weekend! 😊🌺

Even though I normally go for the neutral with pop of blue, I think I’m gonna go with the coral quad because like you said I think on my deeper skin it’ll pop more on me. Thanks for another great review. 🧡

Great review. I already ordered the Rivage palette. My birthday is next week and I splurged big time on Addiction Tokyo!! I went crazy but I loved all the things you’ve shown from them so far. I’m ready for something new and different. I got the Sober Rose highlighter/blush, some powder blushes and a bunch of eyeshadows.

Thank you for the thorough comparisons! I wanted to get the blush, but have the 3 winter blushes and the coral duo from a few years ago-so not sure I need the new one. Still debating an eyeshadow quad, the balm, or the highlighter. Although if it’s blue…not sure I’d wear it. I do love the esthetician of this collection though

I ordered both palettes and the powder highlighter, which were waiting for me at home after work today. I just briefly played with everything and I am really happy with it. The highlighter shows up as really pretty purple/blue sparkles on me-so not really work highlighter, but who cares-and the palettes are really, really nice. That brown from Rivage is the shade I’ve been searching for. It’s my ideal one-and-done that, even among my stupidly large collection, was elusive. Rivage is indeed a convertible day-to-play palette!

I'm catching up with videos so a bit late to this party but have to tell you I love how you mixed the blue and lilac in your eye look Lexi - it's really lovely! The Ocean highlight looks a lovely colour but those glitter particles could never work for me. I love the idea of a pink cream highlight stick - but it's perhaps not quite cool enough for me but would be nice to try it on though - which I wouldn't do at a beauty counter due to hygiene reasons 🤣I would love to try the Addiction Tokyo but sadly it isn't available in the UK. Again, love your eye look which really compliments your grey jumper 😊

Hi Lexi ! Thanks for this . Didn’t Chanel have a similar color palette last summer ? A bit too bright for me. The palette with the blue is a go for me the other not so much and frankly the coral treasure doesn’t remind me of beach colors . The blush - it looks pretty on you so I’m not as scared because it looked really light . This was one collection I thought I’d have to go in boutique to try - but I don’t think so . As always thank you !!!

Wow Lexi! Great thorough demo and review. I hope to get my hands on both quads - as I like the eye look you created by combining them. The highlighter had been a definite “no” prior to watching your review - and since you like it, it’s now a “maybe.” The lip laque is a definite “yes” whereas the highlighting stick is a definite “no” because the oil-based formula remains tacky. I am going to pass also on the blush duo as I purchased the Les Beiges collection blushes in Rose polaire and Mauve glacé - using them together actually - and I think they will pair well with the eye quads. Thank you for this great review. I was told the collection won’t arrive in Canada before March.

The sky version is personally still my favorite but the fundamental is airier, a bit longer hairs, and less domed. It's a great brush too and Sonia said the sky series is not being discontinued but I have a feeling that will be changing with all of these releases she has been having.

Surprised the Suqqu Spring 2024 wasn't one of your choices to compare to the Chanel Rivage. I thought there might be some similarity. I really like the way you applied Rivage. More of a watercolor look. I kept wondering if that blue could be sheered out to make it more wearable. Very pretty on you. Thanks for the review. If I hadn't bought the Suqqu, Rivage might have been my Spring splurge. Thanks for the video!💚

I looked at the suqqu palette with it but the overall vibe is brighter with the chanel so I didn't think they were close enough. The suqqu is a more sophisticated version of the color story imo.

Which is where most of my palettes get their greatest use. But this is amazing on you. Speaking of amazing, Suqqu did a restock of their moisture glaze lipsticks and I managed to snag #5, which I Loved on you. Can't wait to get it. I know these are sold as lipsticks, but my chapped lips actually heal with it on. Thank you for inspiring me to try a new color.

Hi Lexi, so finally the 2024 collection came to Montreal today!! I came to our downtown Shoppers Drugmart’s Chanel counter right away to get both the eye quads, the lip lacquer in shade 92 and the eyeliner. I swatched the highlighter and didn’t like the finish, it’s not finely milled enough for my liking. I didn’t get the blush because I already have two from the Holidays collection which are more luminous, matte finish is not doing well for me.

Hi Lexi, would you recommend the spring 2024 coral pink quad or the Les beige cool pan of 5eyeshadows? Is this duo blush close to the winter glow blush on the face? I’ve Rose Polaire

It's a tough choice. I put some comparisons of the lightest shade on the community tab. I think if you prefer peachier vibes, go with coral treasures but if you prefer pink, the les beiges is better. Keep in mind both palettes have some similar shades in them. The les beiges is lighter overall. The duo blush is close enough to rose polaire on the face. I would wait for something more different if I were you.

Hi Lexi, thanks for the reviews! I think the palettes would look great on teens, like all the Jennie fans. 😂 Chanel is brilliant hiring her to capture a younger fan base. After all we must keep Chanel going into the next gen! 😂 I bought the Mermaid stick, which has been added to their permanent Baume sticks and isn't labeled limited edition. So, I would think it gets restocked if it sells out.

Hi Lexi, beautiful looks. I just received mine. I got both quads, blush, eyeliner and lip balm in anemone . I was thinking to get another balm, but skipped for now😳🤪. And I was watching your Cle de peau video precious lipsticks, and I think I would get better something from them. I think like that soft pink , and I also looked I think at tender red it does have some coral in it ? Yes? I skipped both highlighters. I don’t think I need it. I have 3 oversized ones and duo one from holiday. I know you mentioned that you like better than the oversized white one. And I like that one, so I might need to get it,🤔😂 and I skipped balm stick, cause I have like 5 from Chanel, and then I have pink one from Suqqu, I believe a few years back one. I really love Chanel eyeshadow though. They are really high quality, not powdery and don’t cause itching to my eyes. The last Tom Ford Iconic quad had powder coming into my eyes while the Chanel’s eyeshadows did not.

I had foundation on as a base but you could use the highlighter under a sheer foundation for a lighter look.

Hi Lexi,, From this collection I was interested only in Rivage quad but after I watched a few reviews I decided against. The pastel blue shade is not something I will wear often and the other 3 shades look sheer and close to skin like colour. So I’m not impressed enough to make me buy it. The pink orange quad is an easy pass for me. I don’t like the 2 orange shades and I already have 4 palettes with pink. The blush has 2 shades identical with the pink orange quad and looking to my blush collection I really don’t need this one. Usually I don’t wear highlighter and this chunky glitter highlighter it was the easiest to skip it. I am more interested in the new Burberry eyeshadows. They look much better in real life. I was very impressed about the formula- very silky texture, very pigmented and they don’t crease. There are very good for every day makeup and office friendly. I never tried Burberry makeup before and I really like this new release. Thanks for sharing!🙂

So if i was to get 1 Chanel blush this one or the LB on my skintone u see in my pic , what do u think . I am just having a hard time deciding this one or the other ones and a shade 😂 of course i wish i could buy them all but i dont want to spend that much on 4 different blushes. I actually dont have a Chanel blush yet because i just got into Chanel last year and with the formula change i didnt bother trying any . I got the 78 quad i wanted of course already, its supposed to be here today. I like the idea u supplemented the stick and the eyeliner and that YSL shade is pretty close , i bet u could probably dupe the polish with ur collection too . I told u i think i found a split pan dupe with the Dibs beauty blushes i saw but idk about the formula but the shades look really close. Sadie is the cutest thing ever she needs to make an appearance in all the videos 😂 like Sadie intermission. Do u think Dior Carnelle and Givenachy lose powder in # 4 are close to the shades of this blush . I just bought both and idk why i think they could be close .

I like the fact that this one is a duo so you have a bit more color options for the price but I'm very curious to see if they are reformulating the blushes again with the new team. If they do, I think you might like one of their permanent shades more but that would probably still be a while from now regardless. I think the Givenchy 4 is a little warmer than this blush but it is still pretty similar. If you don't really need a blush right now, I would wait for one that you know you "must have" as soon as you see it.

@@LexiJong 😂I probably don't need a blush ya know lol 😂 I just got Givenachy, Dior and Valentino blush # 4 but want and need are different lol. I like this it looks pretty I just can't decide if it's brighter then what I like or not cause it looks so different on every swatch and pics I have seen. It looks more muted in ur swatches which I like . I'm not into super bright stuff that was my issue on waiting for reviews on it and why I didn't order it right away . I always love how detailed u are with everything.

Hello, I skipped the Prada blue overall too warm. And the CLE de Peau blue is tempting but Chanel did a better job designing a balanced and more versatile palette-making it great for travel as well. Also, may I give you some feedback?

Ive seen a few reviewa on the spring collection and its a definite no for me im not into blue eyeshadows and the other colours are to bright if not wearing on regular basis I think Chanel did not do well with this one

The collection has not had a full release at all retailers yet so it will be back! Chanel will have some restocks online and Nordstrom and Saks have the items as well but they haven't released them yet.

I’m not excited about these. The colors are different but , for me, the one with the blue , it doesn’t show enough difference on the lid. The orange or pink one , it’s not a wow. Again they are pretty. But me, the smart shopper says pass. ❤

And to be honest, I am still not impressed by Chanel blushes just yet. I found the blushes from Hermes, Sisley, Suqqu, and even Bobbi Brown more finely milled and have better texture, at least imo.

I completely understand! Chanel blushes used to be better. I was just going through my old ones yesterday thinking I should get rid of some since they are so old now but I just couldn't do it. Lol.

I almost picked up the coral eyeshadow palette because I know on my green eyes it would look good. I’m just going to wait, for now, because I have some of those tones in my Byredo Remembrance palette from last year🪸that highlighter is intriguing because I could see multiple uses for it as well. Very weak debut of the new Chanel team in my opinion. None of the pieces speaks to me. The textures look fine, but if this collection is indicative of things to come then my wallet will be safe. That is good. Thank you Lexi for your thorough review as always.
