Now seriously, are we all believing them when they say that something is “hard to get” or “not available right now, but, just for you, I’ll let you know as soooon as one becomes available”? Because honestly, what happens when they do call to say that they managed to find the bag you wanted and they had it couriered and it has just arrived - what happens is we go and pay the money, we don’t stop to decide or think about it. It’s a very very clever sales technique. Hermes SAs will even produce any bag and most customers feel “compelled” to accept the SAs recommendations EVEN if they really don’t particularly like the style. That’s nuts. But I’m seeing all these videos of people saying the EXACT same thing about a bag being “hard to find” “not many around” BUT they ALL get the bag. So if you multiply those 10 stories by the actual number of customers... It’s a sales technique, and it works. I’m not saying don’t enjoy shopping or getting the bag of your dreams, but I am saying shop smarter. ❤ Rarity creates desire, think about it.
Yea but you also have to take into consideration that these bags have VERY high demand and only the ones who were able to get their hands on them could film and show it off
The way customers are being treated by these luxury brands is so off putting to me. Being put on “waitlists” due to some sort of made up scarcity, at Hermés likely having to buy a ton of useless stuff to even be “allowed” to buy the bag they want. After a while they finally get PERMISSION to “rush to the store” and pay $4000+ Which self respecting person can find this even remotely acceptable? Sure, I like a nice high quality item, but I’m certainly not going to beg for it!
I've seen about 10 different rich women on YT shorts saying the same "its an extremely RARE....very UNIQUE....VERY _exclusive_ hard-to-get bag and my SA _just_ called me to let me know it's available" and then they be pulling out the most generic looking black Chanel or Hermes bag every.single.time. Its all similar looking yet somehow they're all convinced that they got themselves a rare piece of art. Baffles me fr
You are absolutely correct! Even Louis Vuitton is doing it the same thing. I walked in the boutique and I was looking for the East West Pochette Metis . The had one on the manikin so I was ready to buy. Then I say can I get a new one that hadn’t been touch and tried on by customers who come in. SA “REPLIED THATS THE LAST ONE” I thanked him and went on to two other stores who all said the same thing. One store I checked it had a flaw in the flap it was uneven. I refused to pay $3200 for a bag and don’t have a choice in what I want. I recall shopping with LV FROM 2006 you had a plethora of options to choose . Now they told me we only get one bag in stock when it is sold we get another cones in that’s is nonsense. These brands are trying to create scarcity and you get what you get. This is ludicrous!
Usually i don’t comment anything negative. I usually ignore even if i don’t like someone or disagree with something. But whenever it comes to lamb skin. It’s really a baby animal. When someone talk about thr meat taste or Thr leather. I feel so weird and sad about it. It should not be legal killing small babies like this. Just for some random person can feel happy hanging thr skin on shoulders. I feel extremely sad. Guy we are the reason.
Totally agree with you. Dior and Hermès have nice sandals, and they are made of calf skin. Every time I think about purchasing the sandals, I become nauseous. All I envision is these babies being dragged to the slaughter houses so we can wear their skin. 😞
from what i read, they are not literally calfskin, lambskin or boar skin...these are skins from adult animals...its just fashionable names for these leathers .... it's not nice if you call them pig skin, cow skin or sheep skin...
Yet you also wish you had money too. Don't be mad at her because your life is a struggle. Is everyone just meant to be poor and broke or what?? Ridiculous
Must feel pretty good tbh.. humans these days anyway… I can’t fault people for chasing names on things and trying to buy more “stuff”. It’s what we know
Just check out their vintage bags and you will see the caviar version is the one the holds up the best. I was looking for the mini in caviar. I held out for over a year and got one in 2016.
I’m so glad you got the bag of your dreams. Lamb skin was a mistake. It will scratch immediately & it’s worth goes down. Leather Channel is a better option for your money. Bags aren’t on my dream list though…
The one she took to the boutique was a chanel flap bag CAVIAR LEATHER with GOLD HARDWARE. The one she just purchased is a LAMB SKIN LEATHER with CHAMPAIGN GOLD HARDWARE. There's a difference!
When world is going crazier and food crisis on the highest raise now… these influencers need to stop making this luxury content sound such a necessity…. Luxury sec is already a big Hoax.. make a difference with your content to the larger sector… 🤦♀️🙏
@@ZeviToria can't tell if you're being sarcastic . You should be . In current crisis. That's 3 months food for a family plus electric and gas and car payment. Priorities . Pathetic
@@anonymousasmr6452 I understand the pain of the crisis for many families but I don't think she's affected by the crisis though. Surely she has all these basic needs met first before purchasing her bag. And I'd be happy for her if this is her dream bag.
Loooove it ❣️❣️...What people still can't understand is that Chanel handbags are investments which can also be apart of your net worth because they increase in value and this here item can be passed down to your kids or whomever......
This new marketing of holding back stock which is subpar, is just to create a false scarcity. It's following the Hermes marketing model. As more 'common' people use their disposable income to buy designer, the super rich need to feel their items are more exclusive. So the hype is in the chase or for über rich, for their personal assistant to chase up.
People who can afford luxury don’t always have jobs. Some inherited, some were born into wealth, some married or are partnered with someone wealthy. And some have high paying jobs or own high value companies.
