There is a website that is selling high quality Chanel bags for $500 and I just can’t justify paying Chanel prices anymore. I am moving on to Celine or even Bottega because they are not being knocked off. Please do some research on the high quality Chanel knock offs available on the internet.

I thought I was the only one. Ordered an LV via phone, and the first thing I noticed as soon as it came out of the dust bag was the LV logo at the front (stamped on) was SMUGGED. Took ini not the store, manager agreed it was defective. I paid $3.5K for it, still waiting for the replacement.
They have the nerve to have price increases when they really should be more concerned with quality control smh I know some people will call you difficult for feeling this way but ummmm ... if im paying one or two months rent in NY’s worth for a bag-- i BETTER expect absolute flawlessness and perfection 🤷🏿♀️
Hey Stella, as a museum curator and textile specialist it looks like the marks were caused by the oxidation from the metal on the chain that transferred to the purse. It has to be how the chain was wrapped around the cording within the box. The blue on the strap will eventually turn green, like jewelry that turns a finger or wrist green. I hope that helps. TGT
For the price Chanel charges every single solitary bag that they produce should be flawless. I will never buy a Chanel bag ever and these videos just cement my thoughts.
Hey hun, I’ve experienced the same problem with the mini coco handle when I was purchasing mine. The SA took out 4 new bags and they all had glue on it so I ended up purchasing a different bag. The SA was very helpful telling me that the more you rub, you can damage the leather because it’s metallic.☹️

I have the same bag in the small (not mini) size. I agree with you I absolutely LOVE this bag. I’m so sorry you didn’t get the perfect bag :( I saw a few of these in Manchester (UK) if you keep this you can use non alcoholic baby wipes and the stains will just disappear- that’s exactly what I did with my bag when I had rubbing against my blue trousers!! I wish I could insert some pictures but I can’t here on RU-vid. About the quality I must admit mine was absolutely perfect no glue, perfect corners, no stain at all (but I did buy this THE DAY IT WAS RELEASED!) if I see it being sold online I will let you know? Lots of 💕
I was really surprised that an expensive purse would arrive in the state it did. That’s is so not ok! But of course you had the best reaction and fun attitude about it. But channel needs to have better quality control. Love your videos so much you make great and very entertaining content!
Hi Stella, did you take the bag back to the store? What did they say? I have the same bag, but it didn’t have any problem at first, couple months after it started showing all the black dots.
19K also had a dark grey coco with ruthenium if you wanted another option! Overseas had a grey metallic coco with silver hardware which is absolutely gorgeous!!
I bought the same bag. The black stain it’s not stain, it’s came from the dustbag. I rub gently the dots using leather cleaner and it’s works. Just do not use the black dustbag.
i brought a chanel sunglasses, gosh it was a poor service, a saleperson says I could buy it bc it was the last stock. I highly dont recommend if the items is last stock, dont buy it. it was used as a display. ppl had touch them and put it back on display. so Im thinking that white bag maybe the same as like sunglasses. white bag can get dirt easy....maybe exchange different color?
Thank you so much for being so real and transparent and still posting the video knowing the disappointment of this beautiful bag. It goes to show how their quality assurance have declined tremendously for the amount of money that they sell and charge their bags for. I'm disappointed and seeing all the damage done to the bag and that's just on my TV screen. I can only imagine what it looks like in person and how you feel. Take it back don't put up with this garbage BS! Chanel what has happened to you guys!??!!
I have the same 19k white iridescent coco handle mini, it can to me with 1 tiny glue spot and it was cleaned off very easily. I was okay with that because I really loved that bag. I am sorry what you have experienced, with that price it shouldn't be that way....
Just had such a similar experience with CHANEL, total fail on an unboxing, twice over. I opted to keep my original item. But I can’t decide if I’m just making crazy concessions because I love my item so much. Honestly though, with white, be prepared for heartbreak because color transfer is a real thing (obviously already an issue) and even if you get a perfect one, white leather yellows over time. Can’t wait to hear what you decide! Total bummer Stella!

I would be so worried to keep that white bag even if they gave me a new one. Any kind of dirt would show up. I'm always worried about touching my face if i've got foundation on and then the bag. To be honest if you're paying for quality, it doesn't really matter that they have excellent customer service. The experience has already been ruined. It's nice that they may be able to help and fix the problem but the problem shouldn't be happening in the first place.
Could the black paper be a cleaned up return/refurb bag? I know Apple boxes their return/refurbs in different packaging. Although I will fully admit I know less than zero about handbags... lol
Stella, I’m so sorry you had a double fail with your Chanel bag! How disappointing! I have to admit, I have had similar things happen with several of the top luxury handbag brands, so my guess is it just may not possible to always get a perfect bag the first time around. The last three luxury bags I viewed at/purchased new from the store all had issues, and so I had to wait for a second bag to be sent. However, I was lucky in that at least the second bags all worked out for me. It’s very frustrating for even a second bag not to work out! I’m looking forward to finding out what you decided to do. Send it back forsure. You will constantly have colour transfer if it’s come to you new looking like this. Choose another colour, I feel you will constantly have issues with this colour
I think it’s a sign!! This bag isn’t going to wear well! Take it back! I got three Chanel bags this year and two of them have been a disappointment after some use. I find the impending price increase a joke after owning these bags. They really aren’t made well enough to justify these prices.
I got this one in black recently, I had to exchange it twice to get a good one. I saw one in store but flap was uneven, They ordered one from other store and shipped it to me house. The first one I received was also so bad. the stitching on the sides were uneven, when I open the bag, left and right opening are different size. Then I exchange it again, I received one that had rusted hardware. I sent it back again, finally get a good one. I also purchase a Le boy couple months ago, I used it for less than 5 times, and noticed edges started peeling. The boy is in black caviar. 😔 unbelievable. They increased price again, but quality continues to decrease 🤷♀️
Really inspect the bag if you didn’t get one directly from the store. Other store might sent you a returned one. I received one with rusted hardware, they put the sticker back on the hardware, I could tell it was taken off and put back on bc the plastic has so much dust on it

Stella the Pink one is off the train I would send the pearly white back all together and make them give you credit on another bag because it has some defects and you paid too much money for it♥️
Omg Stella, I wanted this bag but it was sold out. So unfortunate that the piece you got is dirty and possibly defective. It looks like no amount of cleaning will get into the grooves of the caviar leather. Let us know how it goes! I’d opt for something other than white. I’d be too worried about color transfer, dirty hands, bumping up against something, etc. But I stopped buy leather bags after my kiddo accidentally spilled an entire bowl of Mac n cheese on my purse. The hot pink is fabulous!!

I would get rid of the white bag. As much as you're paying for this bag it should be frigging perfect! Its gorgeous, but it will never be the same after this crappy start. Also you most likely get lots of color transfer over time from colored clothing dyes-- denim for example. If you try to clean it yourself you might avoid your warranty. The black is a much better choice...
The first bag ruined that was one for you. I personally would be scared to carry an expensive white bag, I like white bags, but not at that price point. I think another color would be better, although it is beautiful.
