Look up cloud seeding and the effects it has on our weather systems. Climate change is one of the biggest scams out there to make you believe the world is in dire straits.
You do realise it was Europeans that started using the word 'black' in the first place. Africans did not call themselves black people lool. Ever since we came to this country, whyte people have been saying, black this and black that! Now got the nerve to mention race card!
@@infinite8767 come on, seriously who gives a shit about race any more in England haha, humans never really did, for example Rome was the biggest empire on earth for a long time, they had people from all over the known world, they didnt care about skin tone, remeber trading as always stretched miles since humans invented boats, we all know that race is called such because some want us all to be in one, tell me if that is the case then tell me who you think will win this human race?
I believe that when someone in a position like the Foreign Secretary discusses their ethnicity and immigrant background, it's not about playing the victim. Instead, it's a powerful affirmation of diversity and inclusivity within high political office. By openly acknowledging their identity, they challenge the typical homogeneity of such roles and inspire others from similar backgrounds that they too can achieve significant positions. It's crucial to recognize that discussing one's race and roots in this context can help dismantle stereotypes and alter perceptions about leadership eligibility. This is not just about personal achievement; it's about broadening the narrative around who can lead and contribute to shaping our society. Such actions should be seen as promoting equality and diversity, not as leveraging victimhood.
@@gwendee5070No it isn't at all. It's playing the race card. We have had years now of taking a knee, feeling sorry for a drug dealer and woman beater from America being killed. He has no intelligence, he is an aggressive man and is driven by hate towards white people.
@@gwendee5070 typical homogeneity? we just had a British indian PM. Unless he's talking about racism he has experienced in this country (or something topical of the sort) frankly I don't give a flying fuck what his ethnicity is. And I say that as a British Ghanaian LOL!
What’s disgusting is that you want ethnic minorities to be silenced about their history and background. What happened to not re-writing our history? That only counts when it suits you?
Africa is proud of the riches they made, and still do, selling slaves. I wonder if he'll mention slavery to Arab countries when he visits considering that they bought and buy millions more than the west ever did. And castrated their slaves.
Literally just listened to Nigel Farage bemoan the fact that neither Rishi Sunak or Kier Starmer understand what it's like to be working class...yet in this instance he's disparaged for referencing his working class roots in this intro piece? Mate, give us a bloody break, can't flipping win with you loonies.... left or right.
@@matthewthompson1129 I'm guessing you're a lefty by the fact you went off on something completely irrelevant to try and prove your point. The fact he's pulled the race card immediately just shows how utterly out of touch he really is. People are sick of it. Using the colour of his skin because he thinks it gives more weight to his words. His skin colour is irrelevant, but to him and a bunch of other morons, its totally relevant. When will people learn that its actions that determine a persons worth, not skin colour, religious or political standing.
He was careful to talk about being a Foreign Secretary a black working class man from Tottenham, because James Cleverly was the first black Foreign Secretary, which denied him an extra embellishment.
@@IbrahimMohamed-kw7vi Don't be so ludicrous! How are you even going to make a distinction since there is no such thing as racial purity? You can't assess someone's identity by assuming their genetic make up.
@@edelgyn2699 Mixed race people are not strictly one race or another (etc). That definition pays a disservice to each individual facet of their heritage. What matters is how a multiracial person chooses to identify with race. If Cleverly identifies as a Black Man, then that should be respected, as he indeed bears Black ancestry.
That’s because you’ve probably never been discriminated or treated badly due to your race. In essence you have no idea what it’s like to be anything or their than what you are.
My first reaction was to roar with laughter. Absolutely no foreign politician will take him seriously. It goes way beyond tragic, it is pure comedy gold.
There was considerable unrest at protests in 2010 and full blown rioting nationwide in 2011 in the first two years after the last Government took office 🤷♂️
Hi David! I'm a white working class man and a proud descendant of peasants from medieval Britain, they were also de facto slaves in a feudalistic monarchy. I guess we're basically the same right? ❤️
Well, no. Your ancestors were never considered sub human, your ancestors were never bought and sold, your ancestors never had their culture nor language torn away from them, your ancestors were never shipped half way across the world in slave ships to endure a lifetime of physical, mental and sexual abuse. Your ancestors never faced racial discrimination and you in contemporary times have never faced racial discrimination on a regular basis. So, no, you're not the same as Lammy, not even close.
@@haatpraat2993 Oh dear, are you one of those people who thinks Britain invented slavery and that only people of BAME descent are its victims? Imagine trying to quantise the suffering of people from centuries ago with some weird virtue signalling appeal to emotion. It's bizarre honestly. News flash, pretty much everyone of every descent has had ancestors that endured immeasurable suffering at some point in history. Half my family are Irish and suffered intensely at the hands of the English, the other half are Scandinavian, and you guessed it, not only pillaged and enslaved the Saxons (of whom I also have familial descent), but also enslaved each other. Is it particularly helpful to bring up all of this up to Irish, British or Scandinavian people? Not particularly. That's not to be dismissive or derisory of people who have similar ancestries, but rather, an appeal to find some shared commonality in the fact that we're all human and playing the 'I've suffered more than you' card isn't particularly productive or useful when trying to build bridges with one another.
@@wisentropy Well, first off I never mentioned once in text written by me on this page to imply in any shape or from that Britain invented slavery. Either find me the evidence of this or stop reading from your racist inspired hymn sheet. And you are profoundly wrong. You cannot on any measure compare human of medieval serfs to what went on during the time of British slavery. The serfs never died in their millions while being rounded up, kept in dungeons, herded on to stinking ships, shipped in chains across the half the world and then literally worked to death in most cases. Then on top of that any survivors who had children saw their kids being treated in the exact same way. Further medieval serfs or Irish never ever experienced constant and unrelenting racism and racism that endured to this day, so much so, legal processes have been put in place to curb the effects of it. Perhaps, it would be a decent thing from you to wish the new British Foreign secretary all the best in his new job? After all, this is what normal people do.
@@wisentropy I never wrote anything approaching your statement that Britain invented slavery. Perhaps its an idea to actually read my comments before than quoting word for word off your racist hymn sheet. No matter how you look at it, the British treated the blacks in the Caribbean far, far worse than the Irish or British serfs in the medieval times. The comparisons are not even close. The Irish for example still retained language and culture, the Irish were not routinely physical abused, sexually abused nor mentally abused. The Irish were not forced to walk hundreds of miles chained up to coastal prisons where they spent months then to be shipped half way across the world to a world of unrelenting brutality. The Irish for example never ever experienced racism, a racism that grew out of slavery itself and is such a problem in today's world black people still suffer from racism to the point the British government and other governments have gone out of their way to pass legislation to prosecute racists. Given the choice I would wager if you were forced to live the life of one of Lammy's enslaved ancestors or that of your Irish ancestors you would in a heartbeat choose to live the life of your Irish ancestor. Let that sink in slowly for a few minutes . . . .
That's right, I think his brilliance must be very specialized, but he struggles with general knowledge. He thought the Marie who won the Nobel Prize for physics was Marie Antoinette, and the that monarch who took over from Henry 8th was Henry 7th.
@@zamunda_king lol, that's true 🤭, but I think he probably hopes to be remembered for greater things that being better than Liz Truss. Though I fear that it wont be as Foreign Secretary. I'd like to see him in a better suited role.
Lacking in intelligence? You literally have no basis to make such an accusation. Especially given you’re probably the same people who allowed Dom Raab, Boris Johnson and even Liz Truss to hold this office.
Vitimisation and clingging for sympathy. Tell us what your focus are, ending conflicts Ukraine? Ending war in Gaza? Increase in cyber defenses? Modernising NHS? Hiring more police officers and training them better? - You had a great opportunity and you wasted my friend
He's the least diplomatic MP I can think of. Totally unsuited to the role of Foreign Secretary imho. This is the first time I've got to the end of a video containing David Lammy, where he's not shouting. Whether he's right or wrong, the aggressive delivery he so often uses, makes him less credible and difficult to listen to imho.
@@ghostagee5232 Yep valid reasons are easy to find, pick any 5 long videos of him speaking at length on you tube, and here how near-shouuting, aggressive, and bombastic his deliver often is.

What a coincidence that we’ve had two “black” foreign secretaries, when they come from only 2% of the population. Must be a favourite pastime of “black” people.
Change. The most weasel-like of all weasel words. I remember the last Labour government's 'ethical foreign policy'.....one that ended in the bloodbath of Iraq.
Yeah, remember the fun of extraordinary renditions? I wonder if Lammy is going to publish the legal advice the last government got on our involvement in supplying arms to Israel? 😏

What is the matter with black people? Why are the so obsessed with their colour. The first thing this lammy guy, a big grown man, talks about is his colour 🤦♀️.He must have researched where his ancestors came from & added that to this most ridulicious speech ir whatever you call it..Oh dear Sob Sob Sob, what was his point? He's a bit big to to crying. Other normal people of whatever colour, just say what they will do to serve this country. The question is, why was he given this position? Is he suitable for the job? He met the leader of Poland & gave him a big bear hug, is he friendly with the Polish leader? That is not the way to greet someone you dont know. He was like a kid in a candy store. Starmer has made lots of mistakes & this is one of them. We should have patriotic people in government, that wants to do their best for this country, not crowing about their colour.
