I’m glad you are talking about this “all or nothing” mindset. that’s something that I struggle with and I think a lot of people struggle with when it comes to self-improvement. It comes from a perfectionist mindset. And in my opinion it’s a form of self-sabotage.

This is definitely one of my favorite vlogs of yours, you seem more authentic and comfortable on camera, your personality is showing through more! What you spoke about men at 27:00 is soooo true, they look at women as if they’re prey! Its very uncomfortable. Its even worse when they actually approach us, they come off aggressive and expecting you to want them the way they want you.

The timing of this is wild! I planned on posting a vlog every day this coming week so I spent the past week working really hard and then boom…all the footage and editing I did is gone. So I’ve been pretty upset all morning because I finally felt really good about how productive and on top of things I’ve been lately and now I feel completely defeated and like I want to give up. I’m only halfway through the video but it’s already made me feel so much better! Thanks for all the work you put into these, I know it’s not always easy 💕

Omg I so agree on being good as long as your foundational habits are good. It can be overwhelming trying to incorporate every good habit being thrown at you. Sometimes you just need to sleep in to recharge. Definitely not a waste. I'm usually in bed most of the day on Sunday.

Blessings to you Miss Adkins so appreciate your honesty in your presentation. It made me think of myself when i was 340lbs (yikes) now down to 205lb.What changed? I found my why, its my wife even when i was eating food like it was free she always encouraged me. Don't be hard on yourself because we all go through a periods where we need some encouragement. As i head toward 70 i feel free great blood pressure 106/67 and iam currently training for my 18th marathon. So what 2 words keep me going? Lynette I feeeeelll you on the dating stuff!! I also go back and forth 😖 - but I’ve been single for 8 years and I JUST now in 2022/2023 have started to TRULY enjoy my singlehood and I really do love it now. The first 4 years were ROUGH, the next 4 I would go in and out of enjoying it. Now I truly feel so good. (That’s just my experience tho) Don’t be so hard on yourself!! You can be single and still be a lover girl and want a relationship but also know being single might be good for you but also want to be cudddled - like duality. You’re doing great!!!

I love this video! and completely notice the change in restaraunts and how certain things are no longer available even the quality of food has gone down in some place because companies are starting to use less expensive ingredients. I 100 percent feel you when you say change takes time. Im currently taking steps each day to become the best version of me.
