Change has been good for the Seahawks, could it be good for the NFL Draft?

Firstly Rob, you have a community of people who care, about you, the content you produce and who support you think n thin, so great to hear your wife is on the recovery. You were so right about Caroll overstaying at Seattle and it stagnated the past few years, teams finding it easy to play against and win Lumen has to get back to what it was, a dam hard place to win. As for how the new season is decided, yes it could change, how I’m not sure. Anyway, onwards and upwards with the channel, this draft season been the best ever for you, getting way more recognition, content been 2nd to none. Look forward to whenever u, Robbie and Adam get together, always so insightful.

I know you didn't talk about this in your video, but I feel like the stage is set perfectly for us to get a quality QB in the draft next year. With back-to-back QB-heavy draft classes, almost every team in the league now either has their guy or at least has someone on their rookie contract that they're not likely to move off of next off-season. The only teams I see targeting QBs in the draft are the Raiders, Giants and Saints. The Rams and Cardinals may look to draft a QB too if they underperform or are just outright terrible this upcoming season, but I find that to be unlikely. Quinn Ewers could fall right into our laps possibly even if we have a great season where we make the playoffs. Anyway, really appreciate your work Rob, and I wish good health to your wife!

Love the topic. The draft is like Christmas for me. Having to wait an extra month would drive me crazy. But it definitely would be better for the players

So glad your family is doing well, first and foremost. You bring up interesting points, I wonder if it would not be more to beneficial have the draft In the middle of summer actually so that players have time to recover and then when they get in peak physical condition, they are more prepared for OTA and preseason. Maybe July would be better? That might actually have a side benefit of reducing injuries because what happens now, with the way the CBA is and the reduction in pre-season games, players are not ready for NFL intensity and you see a lot of soft tissue injuries in the first quarter of the year. Then again, it doesn't give teams much of a chance to install playbooks either.

I'm sorry, but Murphy could have been working out at least an hour or two every day -- the NFL is his career now. Other players go through the Combine and the interviews and they're in good shape. It might mean nothing as far as how Murphy plays in September, but I was disappointed to hear coach Macdonald say Murphy needs to be in better shape to 'get through' the practices.

Some players are good at the game but don't really enjoy it. Those are the future busts.

I believe that the best improvement to the game would actually be to eliminate the draft. As long as the salary cap is in place, the draft might not be necessary.
