Why the Seahawks should PERMANENTLY switch to throwback uniforms & get rid of 'Action Green'

I am a fan of the Action Green jerseys once a year, but I agree that the throwback uniforms need to take over as the permanent main jersey. They look so good and really accentuate the thighs and ass of Byron Murphy. 🤣

What's also been HORRIBLE, is the fan gear the past few years. Haven't bought anything new in forever, like hat's or hoodies cause...YIK! Lol, In my humble opinion.

Tbh I’m probably biased but lime green is my absolute favorite color so I love those unis, but tbh the throwbacks are so unbelievably clean I would much rather have those as our standard ones and the green be an alternate, just my preference though I love the all lime green too 😂

Throwbacks are awesome. I like the color rush but it’s the least flattering look possible outside of skill positions- like…imagine Red Bryant in that highlighter uniform.

The powder blue is nice , silver helmet nice, but we need a logo where the Hawk has not got big baggy eyes as if it has been out on the town all night!!!! and is a bit more dynamic... What we must do is forget Nike and keep the Hawk around the sleeve at all cost...PS you are right Nike have made a right pigs ear of the kits. Let the teams choose their own makers,

I like the throwback jerseys, but the action green with blue pants is actually a fun change of pace. (However the green on green is an eye sore)

The throw-backs look great. I also like the dark blues. The green ones are obnoxious for me. I'm cool with mixing it up.

I agree , sir.... I have and have had so many Seahawks jerseys from 90 onwards , some of which i lost , some i regained , ie my Largent 80 jersey which i lost . My dear departed Mom travelled to Vancouver a lot from the early 80s and never failed to procure some Seahawks merch for me ( thank you , Mom, i miss you ❣️) and i have the blue , the white ,the wolf grey , the pre first SB blue , more AFC West throwback and one from the late 80s but i have never bought or wanted the green monstrosity.... I love the afc west throw back helmet and jersey ( and the fact that they had the helmet behind the bar in the greatest tv show ever Northern Exposure in Alaska was thrilling to me as a pup) just cements that notion

Agreed 100%, and the way to change back is for the fans to buy throwbacks only. If that’s all Seattle sells then that’s what they will switch to. The fans can dictate which uniforms they want with their wallets. That’s how this gets done.

Thank you, Rob, I've been screaming this for years. Once I saw them on the field last season, it only reinforced what I've been saying. I'm also just so over the monochromatic thing with the blue on blue on blue (blue man group) look we've been rocking for nearly 25 years. Also agree on the dissappointment that Nike has been for the NFL. Great video.

Perma-tbeowbacks would be pretty sweet. Yeah, the old logo is a bit poor. Plus my Seahawks arm tattoo is blue, grey, and a touch of lime green in the eye. Had it since 2012.

I'd prefer they didn't touch the current uniform set-up. While the throwbacks are great to see again, if the Falcons and Cardinals have shown us anything it's the uniforms can only get worse in these new times.

Honestly, I think it's coming. The throwbacks are somehow better than the originals and need to be permanent. Now is the perfect time, new regime, new direction.

I liked the Holmgren era jerseys just because it was new. Looking back, they are clearly the 2nd worst one only ahead of action green. Throwback is the best, followed by our current blue. Wolf grey was boring. Really boring. I'm happy those are gone. Just give me modern and throwback, and I'm happy. Away jerseys should always be paired with the dark blue pants.

Absolutely! Somebody should lead a fan referendum and collect votes. Maybe even some way to tally votes of verified season ticket holders. I think the results would be hard for the team to ignore!

Action green is an abomination and the wolf grey just look like dirty uniforms. Now, see that green on the old uniforms. Use that! Forest green and any and all colors of blue with a little silver to augment. I even want a Seahawk green uniform.

Eagles should go back to the kelly green. Rams should go to the blue and whites of the late 60s with no gold/yellow.

100% with you on this Rob. "Action" green is more like puke green. And the throwbacks are the best. As for the "regular" unis, what looks better, a bubble on the shoulder with the Nike swoosh or a Seahawk emblem on the shoulder that the throwbacks have? Another reason the throwbacks are better.

Feel like i am the only person who doesnt like the throwbacks at all and would not welcome them back as our main uniform. I love the current seahawks uniforms think they are unique and smart and unmistakingly Seahawks. I just dont like the colours of the throwbacks and looks too much like other teams...i.e. Lions

Action Green screams arena league. Never liked it. Never liked how they changed the Seahawks logo to something cartoonish and stupid. Original hawk looked like a northwest totem. New one looks like a cartoon. Seahawks' classic silver and royal blue are great colors. Teams like the Cowboys and 49ers have never changed. They understand their brands. Permanent throwbacks would be awesome.

I really don't like the current navy jerseys/navy pants/navy helmet combination. I don't like the monochrome look in general. It looks like they're wearing pajamas.

Just change the action green days to throwback. Action green is terrible.

Disagree I like the navy blue much better than throwback blue and the Hawk logo is so much better, more fierce looking.
