I was quoted $130 to replace these two filters. After watching your video I ended up purchasing the two filters for a total of $24 and replacing them myself - thank you!
Before I even continue watching the rest of this video I just wanted to tell you thank you so much to even point in the direction to where and how to pull it. Very helpful 👌
I wanted to add my own positive comment - great to have the narration and you using your hands to point out the direction. And, good use of the lighting for the cabin air filter replacement. Overall, this can save Honda owners lots of dollars for a few minutes of time.
Thanks for this video I learned I can do it my damn self and save a lot money. Honda dealership is REASONABLE to have me pay $90 for both air and cabin . While when I got my inspection stickers at my state, they were looking to charge me 153-230 to replace them both
I bought the parts from autozone and I’m waiting for it to ship to my local store to pick it Up. Before I touch the hood should I wait until it cools off before touching that part to open the engine filter?
@@markerx12 You can wait if you want. However the area you would be working with should not ever get too hot. Its also all mostly just plastic pieces. Gloves and safety glasses are never a bad idea when working on cars.
Good video. Does not apply to 2018 Accord Hybrid models though. RU-vid search sent me here, but you'll need another video to see how the Hybrid models are done. Cabin filter appears to be the same. Thanks!
Thank you for the great video, it was clear and to the point. I own a 2018 Honda Accord (2.0) and drive mainly on paved roads. How often would you replace (mileage) the engine and cabin filters? I have just under 12,000 miles since I last changed them.
@@Shamekhane1 Just go to Amazon and put your car make and model into the search bar, along with "air filter" or "cabin filter" and all the options come up. Search comments on the one you think you want to see if the filter is compatible. If you don't see anything, ask the question and the seller will generally provide an answer fairly quickly.
Nope. Thumbs down. Didn't work with the engine air filter. Cover would not pull forward. Stuck in back somehow. Why do these youtube video's make it seem so simple...and it never is?
