Great video, but on the cabin air filter, you are missing a step. There is a little damper on the left side that hooks onto the glove compartment box to make it open softly. After opening the glove box and squeezing to release, it will not fall all the way open. You need to hold the door in place and push the damper end connected to the door down to detach it. It is like an upward facing lego hand. Then the door will open wide. In this video, yours is not hooked up to start with, and you did not reattach it at the end either.
Thank you so much for this video! You just saved me $150 (well, $110 if you take out the $40 for parts). And I feel fantastic about myself for being able to do it myself. I’m looking forward to teaching my daughters so they feel just as empowered. I am very grateful for your easy to follow demonstrations!!
Thanks for the video. I was about to book in for this service and instead, ordered the filters from Amazon. Great job adding the links for the parts, too. You saved me $$$, well done!!
I noticed that you neglected to disconnect the damper on the right side of the glove compartment, and when done, you didn't reconnect it. Hard to tell if it was connected before you started, or it just came off when you dropped the glove box. At any rate, I didn't see you reconnect it. It's necessary so that the box opens and closes smoothly. Surprised you missed it.
@@anilphilip546 it is a little shock absorber rod on the left side that makes the door open slowly. Has an upward facing lego hand connection to the glove box.
No no no! You have to first unlock the piston hook on the left side on the driverside on the interior filter or you could break the piston arm🤨! This filter goes in SUPER SUPER tight so be real careful you don’t scratch the edge of the glove box taking it out. Also on the engine filter there are two bottom plastic guide tabs, not one . The back one easily breaks if it goes in misaligned and pushed hard snapping it in. You have to be super gentle putting this engine air filter on. Cheap Honda plastic breaks easy!!!
Child can do it! Yet dealership tried to get my friends to pay loads. Dealerships are a joke. Cars are not that complicated most of the time. Just use heads and don't let ppl scam you, like dealerships and other chain garages that have good reviews (don't let that fool you).
