Thanks. The enumerator number does not show up in my preview. 1: Is there a way of formatting the enumerator to same length numbers i.e "(001)" not "(1)". so that they will sort alphabetically as correctly. 2: Similarly to format the enumerator WITHOUT brackets? . (Brackets cause chaos in other filing software I use).

I want to enumerate, but I don't want there to be any parenthesis, just a period followed by the number...

You can try this: -Follow same steps from video. -Remove parenthesis renaming again with next regex \)|\( make sure to enable "match all occurrences" too

Click exlamation mark next to field where you put your new file name. For example you can use counter ${start=01}

This answered a huge question for me, but is there a way to set the starting value for numbering?

learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/powerrename#enumerate-items A Replace with text Image_${padding=4;increment=2;start=10}_ would produce the following: Image_0010_.jpg

I think you already discovered it, but i'll write to help others. You can use "${start=1}" where the number is the first number of the sequence.

yes is a pretty great tool, but somebody knows just to replace a certain segment name of the file while leaving the other segment intact?, for example this video, leave intact the last 6 characters and delete the other numbers on the left before the underscore, is this possible in PowerRename?
