Hi thanks for your useful videos. I was curious if I could assign "Memory write" ? The idea is to use TouchOSC midi controller from IPad rather than using/assigning a pedal button in order to write the patch. Thanks

Unfortunately, MEMORY WRITE is one of those annoying Targets that you can only control via the pedals on the RC or by using a CTL/EXP pedal. There isn't an option to set up MEMORY WRITE using the assigns, or control that parameter using a MIDI device, but perhaps BOSS will read this and look to include it in a future update. Fingers crossed 🤞

Really cool that you can use Mode 3 for system. Very useful to have some things by memory and some things by system.

Certainly is, Julie! I think it's just finding the best set up for you and if it's easier to have things set to system, then you might as well keep it that way on a particular mode. I know I keep my FX the same across the board to so now modes 2 and 3 are on system. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Ross

Can i use midi switch controller for switch between Memories and leave free the exp output for other controll?

no i dont think that a midi controller can change the memory. because you cant change memories via "assigns"@@Diego73P

hello. can this memory increase and decrease work wh'ile you are playing if you have written the memories ?

Absolutely. You could change a pedal to 'MEMORY WRITE' and then when you increase to a new memory, the loops are still there, if you wanted to go back.

hi, does it scroll through the memories if you hold the button down (if all the memories are assigned to work that way)? or is there any way to get the memories to scroll besides using the knob? thanks

I believe there is a way to have memory increase and memory decrease set to change with a hold, which should scroll through. Although, this isn't something I've done myself. Ross
