For console hold left and down and when you’re launched press/hold the Xbox/PS button to go the games screen and then go back into the game. You’ll have successfully completed it once

That neutral button just might be something I need to look at. I play Wonder Woman as well, so that neutral air is definitely a strong point in her game. Doing it like Smash Bros often slows down my momentum, so setting it as a button may help me

One of the things that helped me is Switching the Side and Neutral attacks. in The air the Nairs feel like Nairs but on the ground the Neutral attacks felt like an f-tilt or f-smash so I switched it. Plus I use the attack stick function and you can click the stick to do neutral attacks as well.

idk if you went over this in the video but if you have a gamecube controller adaptor with a pc mode you can set up a gc controller in steam controller settings. it really helped me alot when picking up this game

That neutral attack tip is huge and can’t wait to try it - I can’t tell you how many times I do the running attack with Velma when I’m trying to do her beam. Hopefully this also helps with the character facing the wrong direction when trying to do a neutral attack.

Not a big Smash/platform fighter player, I didn't expect to have a blast with this just because of it using Rollback. If this game gets so much traction due to its F2P model, I can't wait to see how well Riot's Project L is going to be received. For your first tip, you can actually override the Playstation Controller support by right clicking on Multiversus > Properties > Controller > Disable Steam Input. No need to use Steam Big Picture.

I play on pc and I dont mind the wasd movement with the mouse buttons for attacks but I do have a recommendation for people on mouse and keyboard. I like to change my dodge to the shift button and use the middle mouse button for the neutral attack. It flows better at times but I still mess up with it but I think I am still adjusting

Depending on your character the swap neutral/side special and attacks might be helpful. I know at least on the ground if you come from smash having the "combo" attack button being the neutral press of the button might be more comfortable. That said it's very character dependent, shaggy is pretty bad if you swap his side aerial neutral since it becomes hard to use the knee and keep forward momentum.

The reason this happens is big picture mode translates PS4/5 input to Xinput. But when you disable it dinput is passed straight to the game.

Man I've been absolutely loving this game. It lacks the Nintendo polish that smash bros has, but personally I just feel like the game flows better. Everything feels super responsive and I don't feel like I've ever been bullshitted by weird mechanics, something I experienced a lot In smash. Also, the netcode is much, much better.

For Completing the Knockback tutorial on the pc all you have to do is that once wonderwomen hit you just click on alt + tab and you will not be knocked all the way outside of the stage

Lifetime smash player here, the dedicated neutral button is a MUST, movement while attacking just doesn’t work the same as smash bros. I also set my jump to r2, it allows me to have an extra free finger over the right side of the controller when I’m jumping, making air and offstage battle much easier. L2 as dodge, attack as square, and special as X are my other important inputs I use

I've also bound neutral attack to R1 but I think it would be better if we were given the option to have neutral attack and attack completely separate. Neutral attack can still be activated by pressing the attack command, which messes up my flow sometimes. Doesn't even matter if I swap side with neutral it always bothers me.

I already had the neutral attack assigned to that button. Maybe they updated it? It definitely opened my word as soon as I started using it

If I were to guess the PlayStation setting in steam translates the input into Xinput, which is what Xbox controllers use because PlayStation controllers sometimes don’t work for all games

For the using PS4 Controller and it shows up as xbox u can just use DS4 Windows app and change it to Dualshock 4 rather than Xbox controller

You don't need to disable playstation support or go into big picture. Just right click the game and go into properties, and disable the controller support there. The playstation controller support in steam is meant for the 90% of games that don't recognize it.

It seems that Mvs has issues with controllers and steam. There's the PlayStation controller issue you mentioned, but also on Linux w/ Multiversus, controllers won't work unless you turn off steam configs.

Usual steam input fix is in your library right click the game go to properties click controller then set it to “disable steam input” it should then be showing the correct inputs 💯
