This looks nowhere like my 2014 juke CVT transmission. The shape of the oil pan is completely different, as well as that straw sticking up off of it. And the position for the external filter is not on mine at all.
I found trouble fluid leaking from CVT cover filter. I change the oring... good for a while.. n then leaking again. Does the cvt filter housing can not be reusable?
Según el conocimiento que tengo , puedes limpiarlo con gasolina ya que eso se seca rápido o también con desgrasdor de motor , pero tienes que secarlo bien
3.5-4L depends on your vehicle. You can empty it and then measure that amount. You want to make sure the car is heated up for 10 mins before emptying to get accurate measurements.
@@anon4041 Should the car be driven and heated up before emptying to get accurate measurements? Doesnt the oil expand when heated? coz the new oil you add is cold and when you measure the heated oil that have been expanded it will show you much more.
Norman Lie After 10 mins you shut the vehicle out and it takes time to pour out, so you could let it sit a bit to get a more accurate measurement. But it’s pretty close to what it should be.
So, there’s the filter/strainer in the pan, the filter that’s accessible when you remove the beehive transmission cooler, AND this one? Can someone confirm this?
Well there goes that Nissan CVT ... Shot ! Lol you should be using the Nissan NS-2 or NS-3 depending on the model year .. CVT fluid isn't just CVT fluid just saying lol don't complain when your CVT fries haha use the correct fluid that Nissan uses . Theirs is also green .
@@davidmatteau7696 Hiya mate...I'm due to change this next week....the one I'm working.on is a 2014 Juke and workshop detail's suggest using a filling pipe and pressure bottle to add fluid...there's no mention at all of a dipstick only that the oil level is found in the drain plug opening (dual bolt/level)....have you come across this? @@switchest26 no, i refill my cvt with the exact amount that came out , 4l ish... i had a big container with measurement for when i drained the fluid... I would do this process 3 times each 2500km or 1000 miles if you are serious about changing the cvt fluid. ( for your first "flush") Then i would change it every 50000km or each 30 000miles with both filters... Also note that on the juke there is a paperfilter on the side of the cvt and a filter inside the transmission thru the pan.
