I also stopped politics. Things are progressing as Revelation told us they would. I am spending my time working on my home, family, pets, scrapbooking and most importantly my relationship with the Lord. I tend to rehash regrets and things I wish I could have a do over. I need to eliminate those from my brain. And live my current life..Almost 62...need to try and do the things I always wanted to do.

Fabulous comment Gayle. i agree with everything you said. I'm 63, and yes, it's time to do the things we've always wanted to do, and that includes letting go of the past, and looking forward. Thanks for watching! ❤

Teri, I love that you are such a curious learner. Thank you for sharing. I feel the same about politics! I don’t even know the date of our primaries! I will find out and vote. Thank you.

Thanks Teri, I dropped politics AND social media. Talk about a burden lifted!!! I’m reading this great book right now called Unwinding Anxiety by Judson Brewer, MD, PhD. Similar to what you are talking about, but focuses more on the reward, you get from the habit rather than the behavior itself or the trigger. Very insightful. I have to ask myself, if Jesus is the prince of peace, and he lives in me why am I so compellingly attracted to anxiety and fear rather than the peace of God? What is that all about? The attachment to negativity and anxiety is a habit, plain and simple. “Let it go” is my new mantra. It serves no purpose, and the reward is nothing but misery and a constant loop of fear begetting anxiety and anxiety begetting fear. Thank you for tackling the hard stuff.

What an amazing comment Tina! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going to get that book. Thinking of negativity and anxiety as a habit, is brilliant... because a habit can be broken! Can't wait to read it. Thanks for sharing!

I agree about not watching the news……but I’m definitely voting!😊

The news has become completely alarming. They use fear in every headline. I'm so glad I've noticed this... it makes me not feel like I have to watch. YES to voting, it's our only hope (besides the Lord of course!).

I love the comments about politics. I felt so consumed by it and I never could change anything. I have always voted and am thankful I have that right but in national politics even the state I live in doesn’t really count in the vote. We are small potatoes. My focus is on my relationship with God, my family and my friends.

I always lived in big states where the vote really mattered. Now, in AL, I realize it probably doesn't count as much. I will always vote, as I'm sure you will, but leave the outcome of all this chaos to God. 💖✝📜

Teri, what a great idea I will look that channel up for sure. It reminds me of a devotional page, I just read from the "Book of Mysteries" by Johnathan Cahn in where he said to the effect of its like looking through a glass at the world and how the light filters certain colors out. He said our world is a mix of good and evil because of its fallen state, and it will be our glass or our filter that will determine what we see or like you said keep in our mind. He went on to say that the things we take for granted will become our filter. For example if we live expecting and requiring heaven and perfection, and feel we deserve to be blessed we then take the blessings for granted and we become blinded to seeing the blessings. In other words if you take the good for granted then you end up filtering out the good in what you see or what you tell your mind and it allows you to concentrate on the wrong and not good the imperfect and the dark. He said that requiring heaven from this life ends up removing heaven and make life hellish. He said the secret is to take hell for granted instead of heaven in other words know that we deserve judgment but have been given grace instead and that no blessing is deserved or warranted and then we take no good thing for granted and what will happen is the opposite. Your heart will see only the good and every blessing. Everything will become a blessing a gift from God and his grace. and compared to hell this life is heaven. Basically, take judgment and hell for granted and the fact that your saved from it and you will see every other blessing in your life as as total undeserved grace and by this live a heavenly life. Kinda like renewing the mind if that all makes sense.....I immediately thought of this devotion after listening to your video. Often times I find myself just concentrating on the negative of a certain situation and not look at the blessings in it and it gives a whole new outlook to it and when we can't with something we need to leave it in the loving arms of Jesus who can....hope all this made some sense....love your videos....God Bless....🙂 Debbie

Love this info Teri; our mindset is a powerful gift & growth is constant be it dealing emotions from our past or fears of our doubts. For me I have always wanted to learn another language but kept thinking too old to retain it. BUT this year decided to tackle it so I’m learning German & love it! It’s opened up so much more than the German language but also my own the English language as well. Thx you for the post. 🙏

That is so awesome that you are learning German. I had that mindset too, that I was too old for a foreign language. Last week I pulled out my old beginners French reader. I remembered so much from 10 years ago! It was so fun...and I decided maybe I'll go back to learning French. You've inspired me!

The brand of mine is BCAN. Not sure if the exact one is still available. I was on the inexpensive end of rebounders, but I decided to make sure I would use it before invested too much. So far it's working fine. 💖
